Some Random Phrase
Chap. 1 In Which Introductions are Made Greetings. My name is Ghost, or Toko. I am a Ce-Toa. I'm also male, permanently intangible, and partially invisible. It's a long story, so let me start at the beginning. I used to be a Ce-Matoran, one of the first in the universe. Thus, I was male. When the Great Beings changed their plans for the Psionics race, they drove all of us male Ce-Matoran out of the village, fearing it could disrupt their "balance". We all parted ways, and one day I found a Fa-Matoran village. They took me in, and I learned to help craft their intricate magnetic devices. Much later, when I was a member of the community, I found a Toa Stone. After the ensuing tranformation, the village decided to hook me up with a team that operated in the area. I joined the team eventually, and we fought standard villains, saved villages, that sort of thing. Until the day we went up against a Makuta. My entire team was felled by his mental attacks, but he had to finish me off physically, for my mental shield resisted his telepathic powers. I attempted to program a power into my Mass of Conjuring to defeat him, but at the last moment, something went wrong. Whether it was a flaw in the mask or whether the Makuta somehow did something, I do not know to this day, but the mask backfired, granting(or cursing, depending on how you look at it) me with these powers. Now I am a freak, a phantom, something that Matoran see in the night and run and hide from. I do not blame them. They think I'm a ghost. But I am sad regardless.
