popm Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Hi!I've been figuring out how best to sell these sets of Bionicles that I have. I worked on the Bionicle comics a few years back and was sent a bunch of the sets from LEGO. I've held onto to them for forever now and kind of forgot about them. We are planning to move soon and I found the boxes - the boxes that LEGO shipped them in were a bit water damaged in storage and frankly just old and warped but the sets inside were bubble wrapped and are fine. I have two boxes of Bionicles, one full of sets from Bara Magna and one from an earlier line - maybe from 2007? Not sure.Anyhow, I'm going to eBay the whole lot of them because the sets are loose and LEGO didn't ship them to me with any packaging - in fact some were shipped to me before they came out in stores so there are slight difference in the colors of the pieces sent to me and he ones that made it to shelves. Is there any interest for them? I'll also include some signed comics with the sets. What's left of the comics I have, at least. Hahaha, I don't have many left after all this time. Transactions will also be easier to complete there, I think. I was trying to upload some pics on here but I couldn't quite figure out how to do that. Haha, I'm derping out but I'll link the pics here from eBay since I can't seem to upload. About the different colored pieces - I think LEGO just reused pieces from previous sets when they send me the sets. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they weren't sending me prototype sets or anything like that. I only noticed them when I saw the pics on the shelves of the figures. It's been ages and I couldn't tell exactly which pieces they were. I'm hoping you can pick them out from the pics I've taken of the sets I have. To be honest, I didn't interact that much with them either, I used the sets to draw and packed them away when the assignment was completed. I think the sets would be better used with fans than in my basement. 1 Quote

Flintsmith Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 The parts are probably worth less than your art (though we all love our mis-colored parts here). I bet that if you put your original sketches together with the final version in a frame... maybe with some notes from the art director describing what you were meant to draw you'd get a lot of interest.
