turaga edron
I have series one of the Knights Kingdom (Buildable figures), but I don't have series two. I've did some reseach and I found out series two came in metal tins and that the king and main bad guy came in boxes with catapults. What I'm not sure of is how many of the regular figures (the ones that came in metal tins) there was. Does anyone who collected these know or remember? They came out around 2006 give or take a year. JAG18
I collected a few back then and remember spending hours gawking at their pages in the LEGO catalogs. Using Brickipedia to refresh my memory, they were three waves of buildable figures released from 2004-2006. 5 in the first wave, 6 in the second, and 6 in the last wave; of those last 6, four came in metal tins and 2 came in boxes with some kind of siege weapon. That Matoran with a Vahi
I think you're remembering series three; series two was the bulkier remakes of the original knights. As JAG18 says, there were four in metal cans in that third series: Sir Adric, Sir Kentis, Dracus and Karzon. Quote "New legends awake, but old lessons must be remembered. Ta-metru_defender
I got a couple of the originals 'cuz they seemed cool, and then some of the last wave for the parts. The armor pieces looked great on MOCs and caaaaaaapes. Keep in mind this was before those SW Buildable Figures made Toa-sized fabric common. Lyichir
I always kind of wished there were horses for them to ride. The siege weapons in the third year kind of scratched that itch, but not really. Daler99
I have 5 of the 6 from the 2005 series. I loved those sets; they were so much fun! The 2006 sets all came in metal containers, while the 2004/5 sets came in plastic canisters. The only time I ever saw the 2005 King Mathias was when I found it in a toy store while on a trip to India in 2010.
