In part it was Indiana Jones that got me back into collecting system sets back in the day, so I have a certain fondness for the theme. I didn't get the first iteration of the Lost Tomb, so I jumped to get this one. It's got Indy, it's got Sallah for the first time, it's got new Anubis statues, and it's got a Kaukau Easter egg! Daler99 Posted July 31, 2023 Share Posted July 31, 2023 Great review! This is certainly an interesting set, but I can’t help but think that the original set from 2008 is better in some ways. Especially the Indiana Jones minifigure; the original one is such a classic and the new one looks off to me. Imo, the face simply doesn’t look like Indiana Jones.
