They couldn't have released this, right? My first thought was that this was a hoodie some staff member was wearing at like, the E3 showing or something.

At a glance I'd guess it might have been part of the Lego Wear line of branded clothing that was advertised in a few Lego catalogues around this time? The ones I saw never gave a specific listing of available products though, they usually had no more than a double-page spread on the Wear line to be like "hey, these exist too", so I don't know for sure if that's where this came from. The timing would line up though, at least.

That said, the catalogues were always vague about where the Lego Wear clothes could actually be bought from, so I don't suppose that helps much.
