Brickeens
As displayed at Brickfair 2011.The first version of the MOC looked very awkward, so a redesign was badly needed. I decided not to give it arms this time, because I think it looks much better without any.Enjoy if possible.
Sparkytron
The legs are better but I prefered him with arms. For the rest I like the accents of gold and how the eye matches the space between the two Brutaka masks Quote I had a signature once it's gone now
Brickeens
Really? I think the arms looked very bad.
Zaxvo
Looks really well done Brickeens. I like the mecha-feel to it, and the colors flow well and look layered well. However, I'm not a huge fan of the grey pins sticking out of his ankles. Quote . {Z}
Sumiki
I may have mentioned this at BrickFair, but the Technic-beam-to-stud adaptors holding the feet in place look really strange ... Then again, if it's the only way to hold the feet in place without some sore of massive leg rebuilt, then so be it. Paleo
It looks as if it was designed for sprinting.I like the eye, especially with the spoke-like things behind it. Really makes it feel like an automaton. Quote Flickr
Brickeens
@Zaxvo and Sumiks: Yeah, those pins in the ankles don't look too great. @Paleo: I dunno, it's kind of topheavy, so I don't think it would make a very good running machine. Dralcax
For the most part it's an improvement, I liked it better with the arms, they made it look more complete. Now it looks sort of like a headless ostrich, despite the quality of the build.
Toa Kanas
Expect the unexpected with Brikeens. That is all. Seriously though, nice stuff. As always, imaginative legs and a great idea that makes me want to wip out the old lego bin. I especially enjoy the body/head Quote Did you hear?? FORUMS ARE BACK! Zaxvo
@Zaxvo and Sumiks: Yeah, those pins in the ankles don't look too great. What exactly is their purpose? I never got a chance to see this in person. Quote . {Z}
Akuna Toa of Sonics
Better than the first, even though the first was really good. Although, I think a pair of skinny arms would look better. Brickeens
@Makuta Dralcax: I lol'd. You're making me wish Olmaks existed in black. If they did, I would actually make an Ostrich.@Toa Kanas: Thanks.@Zaxvo: There's a lightsaber part going through each ankle. The pins hold it in place.@Akuna: I like it most without arms.
