Laughing Man
in my opinion, when they broke up they should've stayed broken up. not a good band at all.
Icicle
Not a good band now, or then? Quote Hey look I almost have 1000 posts

Laughing Man
..which means what, exactly?I listen to a heck of a lot more than metal, including some pop-punk. and I just don't find Blink-182 to be good.
Icicle
Ehh not many metal enthusiasts like Blink-182 around here. That's always the first reason people say when they say they don't like it. And it's hard to get around Tom's "unique" voice.*Oh yea I don't mean Bzp when I say around here. Laughing Man
on the contrary, I enjoy his voice, particularly in Angels & Airwaves.it's the bland, generic pop-punk music and the awful juvenile lyrics that I can't stand.
Icicle
That's.. Actuallly a surprise. I've only seen the hard core fans like AVA. lol! But yeah, I guess the lyrics are, um, not safe for work, but what really is generic-sounding? I always heard that as a complaint but I never understood it. Laughing Man
they don't bring anything new to the genre. it's just by-the-numbers pop-punk. there are tons of other bands that, musically, sound the same. it's just.. generic.
Icicle
Yea, then I guess I like generic pop-punk lol. I'm into all of those bands that fall in that group. Or atleast I think I am, I lost contact with almost all new music. But hey, atleast their latest album doesn't sound like them, it sounds more like an AVA collab with Mark and Travis lol. Jonestown Bartender
I swear to god if I see one more 13 year old skater blasting B182 on their iPod and saying their hardcore I'm going to kick someone in the face.
