Windblade, Creek and Scorch fought the matoran who suddenly moved a lever exploding a machine killing Windblade. Creek killed him for revenge. The bolt of high pressured water Creek shot hit the lifeless robot, Proto. Proto turned on and saw the destruction in front of him. Scorch told him about the matoran and Windblade. Proto has since fought for the Toa and is an honorary Toa. He fights with martial arts, his elbow spikes and an electric shield which can fire bolts of electricity at enemies. He has no elemental powers, yet, he is working on programming to allow him control over an element.
