Mata Nui created Makuta because he wanted them to make Rahi to fill his Universe with creatures that probably weren't made by Great Beings because of lack of time. Kraa-nui Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I was thinking about this recently, and thought they were created to aid in matoran labor, like the ussal crabs. Also they would be part of an ecosystem inside of mata nui, which is some what important. Quote
