Rick Santorum

I really need to use this more...Been quite busy as of late, but now that basketball season is over I should have more free time and not be as much of a lurker. I also think I lose my PMship soon; may or may not renew.

Anyway, to the subject of this entry: The presidential candidate I currently support.

Right now my favorite is definitely Rick Santorum as there's hardly anything I dislike about him.. Rick Perry was my favorite, but as he dropped out that now goes to Santorum.

Newt Gingrich would be my next choice -- there's a couple of things I dislike about him. Then it'd be Mitt Romney (really wish I could talk about why I both like and dislike him) and Ron Paul.

Again, really wish I could get into the whys, but there's the ranking of the current four Republican candidates for me. I'd definitely vote for any of them over Obama (excited -- I actually get to vote this November! I just wish I could vote in the Primaries but I'm not eighteen until July and the Cal Primary is June-ish), but I'd still rather have Santorum over the others.

On that note I've found myself loving politics recently -- Government was my favorite class last semester, and I love discussing/debating politics. I also often listen to SoCal's AM 870KRLA -- conservative talk radio. Anyway.

Other than that, something else I'm excited about: Kill Shot, by Vince Flynn finally came out on the 7th (was supposed to come out in November, but as Vince was diagnosed with cancer, that sort of got in the way). Got it yesterday and am almost done; quite excellent so far, as all of Flynn's books are. Highly recommended! The only bad thing about his books are that you buy them when they come out, finish them in a day or two, and then have to wait a whole year for the next one. =P

Lol, you just listed my preferred candidates in reverse order. Well, swap Paul and Obama. I'd rather vote for Paul at this point.

That is who my parents support. And who I strongly disagree with and strongly dislike.

I'm with Bunda, aside from the Paul part. At this point, I probably just won't vote at all.

That's the spirit!

Although seriously how did political discussion suddenly become okay

go obama

It hasn't?

Naming who you support is fine, but any discussion is not (hence why I didn't say why I like/dislike them).

And you listed my preffered candidates in pretty much exact order, although I wouldn't vote for Romney even if it was a tosss up between him and Obama.

I won't be voting for two years though.

Hey, I'm gonna have to lock this entry. While ya'll have been keeping it civil, I'm afraid political discussion's not allowed, and, yanno, this is topic is like sticking a can of kerosene next to a candle. Could be fine, but hey.

Cheers.
