I noticed! That's what inspired me. You got some great pieces.

 

I mostly got a variety of HF shells, a bunch of useful technic pieces in assorted colors, and some useful Bionicle pieces in assorted colors. I mostly focused on green and orange, since those are the colors I'm using in my extremely-derivative Gundam MOC.

That moment when whippersnappers say 19 is pretty darn old and you're 22...

And yeah, I know the "neutral colors with red highlights" problem all too well. Especially in recent sets, those tend to be some of the most common colors, and thus the most versatile. Often after making a MOC in those colors I build it in LDD and then see what it might look like in different color schemes, but rarely do I come up with anything that looks as good as the original. Every single MOC I currently have registered for Brickfair uses predominantly red and neutral colors, even the System ones!

 

Hopefully if BIONICLE does come back next year it might bring some more variety in colors like green, blue, and orange that are still woefully under-represented in constraction sets. I don't particularly care if they're the same shades that were used in BIONICLE. I wouldn't complain about seeing Bright Green instead of Dark Green (Mata Green) or Medium Azur instead of Medium Blue. Just having a wider variety of parts in SOME of those sorts of colors would be a godsend.
