Any tips? Got a bunch of CDs today and a lot of them have some stickiness left on the cases.

I heard Nail Polish remover can remove that stuff.

if you've got any cleaning solutions used for removing scuff marks and crayon and things of that nature from walls, I've found that generally works pretty well. Just keep it away from the disc itself (maybe move it to another case while cleaning) and wipe the case off afterward with a damp cloth and dry it. Chemicals found in cleaning products can damage a disc if it comes in contact.

also, what CDs did you get, out of curiosity?

EDIT: As suggested above, nail polish remover could also probably work, but again, keep it away from the disc itself and wipe off the area you used it on with water and dry it afterward to make sure no chemicals are left behind on the case.

one of the many reasons I hate buying CDs in the states. :P They don't put those wretched sticky bars on them in Canada.

Peanut butter works miracles. Seriously, just smear some peanut butter on, let it sit for a while, and it should wipe off cleanly.
