Eh, I dunno if it would have been better or worse if the 2010 plot were like that. On one hand, it would have dragged the line on too long, on the other, it wouldn't have broke the "reboot" that 2009 was supposed to be.

 

Also, considering what the Stars were like, I'd assume these Biomechanical Dinosaurs would look something like this.
