RWBY Volume 2

Posted by Voltex Oblige , in Life Jan 30 2014 · 120 views

Announced today; it'll premiere at RTX 2014 and then on the web shortly after. Sounds like they'll be fixing some of the issues Volume 1 had with episode length; we'll be getting 12 chapters this time around, each around 12 minutes long, and they won't be divided into two parts each like Volume 1 was.

I'm optimistic. :D

I watched the first three episodes of RWBY, and honestly I don't see anything good about it.  :notsure:

You really need to watch the whole thing as a movie to enjoy it properly, but even then it took 2 or 3 watches before I really liked it. It has some very glaring issues that need to be addressed for Volume 2, upon which I will decide whether I will remain interested in the show.

Meh.

It really does need to pick things up to get me to stay invested to.

In particular I really hope they work on episode lengths.

The show isn't bad, but I agree with the notion that the action scenes are far better than the casual scenes. The voices could use a little bit of work, except for Jaune's, which is perfect.

Jaune is really good - I hope they let do Miles do more of the motion capture for him though; in the locker room scene Miles motion captured and Jaune's motions feel a whole lot more natural in that scene than on, say, the rooftop.
