May 29th approaches.

 

I continue to miss the preorders for Robin, Lucina, Jigglypuff and Greninja whenever they go live anywhere online by mere minutes, if they don't go up the very moments I leave for work. Walmart here is doing another wave of preorders for Jigglypuff on the 15th; after that, the 28th/29th are looking like my best bet.

 

If I do not manage to get the figures on those days, I think I will be done. I should not have to live on my computer in order to purchase plastic toys; if Nintendo does not want my money, then they shall not have it.

I haven't bothered to get any Amiibo. The only ones I was remotely tempted to get were Robin and Lucina (to support further Fire Emblem merch being brought West, and for Codename: S.T.E.A.M.), but when the demo for that game underwhelmed me, and I saw how much trouble people were going through to even preorder those, I gave up on that.

 

I still might see if there's any chance of getting one of those Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. Not only are they ADORABLE, but they even come in pink, matching my pink Yoshi main in Smash Bros.! But if those also turn out to be a nightmare to obtain, I might pass on those too.
