Sharing My Artwork

TinkerTech

I'm considering an account on a certain site that I can share artwork on, now that I've actually been drawing things. In an actual SKETCHBOOK.

on the plus side, people would be able to see my artwork and give me decent feedback

on the minus side, It'd be another password for me to remember, and I'm not sure if anyone would actually want to see my artwork.

So I'm kinda stuck.

Help?

I got an account a while back, and got a favourite on the very first view of my very first deviation! You'd be surprised how interested people could become in your art! I certainly recommend you get an account.

Submit to groups if you want faves, use the forum if you want critiques. It can really pay off. It's a social circle of its own and you have to learn the ropes if you want recognition. Sadly, it's really centered on trendy stuff--fan art digital paintings, photographs with only one color and the rest black and white, free-verse poetry, that kinda stuff. There are a whole lot of niches though, and if you want genuine art critique it's not too hard to get. I'd totally recommend it, despite the fact that it's not difficult to stumble upon drama everywhere.

Thank you everyone. If you come back and can't find the original post, it's because I forgot that said site had a forum, and we're not allowed to mention other sites with forums on BZP. So I changed the info a little, but the basic gist is the same.

:kaukau: I feel bad that my sketchbook turned out devoid of sketches after I expended a ton of energy on an intricate illustration that just might be a book cover for a future writing project of mine. After that, all my ambition just left me and I failed miserably to produce any art other than sketches that were more like stick figures instead of real art with real effort. I think ultimately my pet projects fair much better attention when I need a distraction from commissioned art, but now that I live in a new town and have no reputation I haven't been getting any of those lately.

Yeah, I'm posting this almost a year after you published this entry, so heck, I might as well ask how things have been coming. How's it coming?
