Mate.397
Evo (Brain Attack)http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Evo-Upgraded-418511683I know it can't be seen well, but the torso was modified to a more custom one I was keeping around for quite a while now, and I did design it a way to work with the torso armor, so sorry for not seeming much at first, the back view will show it better. Balancing out the yellow with the gunmetal as well, I still have one more of this type of torso I'm keeping for Bulk (Breakout) http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Evo-Upgraded-Back-418512605True the head seems a little pushed forward but then again, his head can bend backwards properly to look forward when swimming. Under the armorhttp://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Evo-Upgraded-Under-the-Armor-418997767A shot of showing how the skeleton looks under it's torso armor, it's fairly simple but effective Voltixhttp://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Voltix-Revamp-418512949This guy was a pain in the neck for me for a year or so x.x I couldn't figure out a good design for him until at one point the eureka moment happened, though then it was just half done, since I still had to get the limbs done. Which I could once I got my package from BrickLink. But I still need more to make him a better looking leg/feet, the current ones still works for now, but it's a little thin to the over all look. So his weapons are a back mounted mortar, a riot shield and well armored arm to support it and his whip modified now having the HF cuff on the end so he can grab his victim and pull him in, and probably smashing it's face with the shield. I also planned some neat things for Speeda Demon and Black Phantom, I know those three aren't related really, but fanfic is there for a reason http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Voltix-Revamp-Shield-Arm-418528544http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Voltix-Revamp-Whip-418528815http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Voltix-Revamp-Back-Mortar-418529031Back view with the mortar and his electric tubes, I honestly didn't like the red in his original design, it seemed very off. Chro
Evo's not super exciting here, but not bad. On the other hand, Voltix is really nice, but the lack of electric spikyness is detracting from my appreciation of him. Please, read the BBC Forum Rules before continuing to post in BBC.Reading the Rukes is an excellent idea and I highly recommend doing so. I took those electric spikes off to put them into much better use, plus if I recall right no other revamp used the spikes either, well so far that's how I saw it, and that's proving something about their reason to be removed. Chro
No other revamp used the spikes? What Voltix revamps are you lookin' at? I've seen a few that use the electric spike pieces, for example Fenrek's Voltix... and here is another example. What's with the sudden attachment to that specific piece?
Chro
Oh... yeah, that second one isn't. I must've copied the wrong Voltix URL. >.>I actually have no idea why people have not used it for Voltix; it was really the signature piece of the set in my opinion. That's not to say you can't make Voltix without those, but I personally think it looks a lot better with them. (This may also stem from the fact that I don't have Voltix or any of the pieces from him and desperately am in need of some of those electric spikes... ) Quote save not only their lives but their spirits
