Archiving PMs?

Hello, fellow BZPers.

I've been looking around in my messenger, but couldn't find any means of archiving old PMs. I distinctly remember there was such an option prior to the forum updates. I'm curious to know if there's a similar option right now? By archiving, I mean an encoded file of some sort that would be sent to your email. I'd like to free up some space, but I'd rather have at least one copy of my old messages stored somewhere.

The same question applies to old blog entries.

Thanks. :)

The link for archiving PMs is between the last post in the conversation and the "Fast Reply" box. Dunno about blogs.

Correct. You can only archive conversations individually now. See here, here.

I too am unsure about the Blogs. I've been searching everywhere; I can't find anything. The "email" option at the bottom emails only a link. Maybe someone more knowledgeable about the Blogs than I knows?

I don't see any options to download the content of your blog. I assume that's the goal, right? To have a copy for yourself and not leave it to the whims of the internet?

If not, and you just meant you wanted to free up the space (which you don't technically have to do in the same way as PMs), you can always draft your old entries. They'd be invisible to everyone except you and blog staff.

No, the old entries I want gone are already marked as drafts either way. It's just a matter of coping with my OCD. :P

Thanks for your replies, guys. I was curious, though, is there any way of more effectively archiving PMs other than doing it for every message individually?
