Observedhalo
I really like your sketches of the Toa Mata, especially Kopaka. sunflower
Really, really like the art style here. It's an excellent mix of interesting and dynamic forms, while at the same time retaining the mechanical feel of the Toa. You've done an amazing job at keeping the armor rigid and yet flowing, without making it look as though the figures themselves wouldn't be able to bend their arms and legs. The functionality and angular form works very well, and I personally find it very visually interesting. I especially like what you've done with the Akuku's scope in the second Kopaka sketch. You've managed to capture the character's personalities without the need for color or fancy effects. If anything, all I can say that's negative is that the photos themselves are slightly blurry, but otherwise, really awesome work, keep it up! Torran
Wouldn't mind seeing these turned into line art, in the least! I think I recall liking your old art as well, back in the day. Good to see more turn up. Quote flickr - Brickshelf
