Toa Zaz
It's so weird that this Ninja Turtles movie is supposedly about to come out this year , but there's no official trailer or poster or anything. What gives? Maybe it'll be delayed ad they'll have to recall all their merchandise at the last minute like GI Joe Retaliation. Here's a leaked picture of the 2014 turtles:http://pmchollywoodlife.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/ninja-turtles-poster-lead.jpg?w=600 So, how did the turtle minifigures look, like, in relation to this picture? Did they have any of the accessories detailed or anything like that? Quote Thank you, BZPower staff. In the past, I wish I showed more appreciation for all that you do. Did they have any of the accessories detailed or anything like that? The faces definitely looked more like the ones in that poster than the current turtle minifigs. I'm pretty sure Donatello had those goggles too. One thing I noticed is that they have a new shell piece, and the top of the shell ends about halfway up the back of the head, which just looks weird. Aanchir
I've never been a Turtles fan, but I really have to say that this current iteration of the show has got some great and creative designs, and the LEGO sets have done a great job replicating them. The Turtle sub has a beautiful exterior, AND a beautiful interior with space for all four turtles. FBTB's coverage shows the models in great detail. Much like the Shellraiser, it took something beautiful in concept alone and made it into a wonderful LEGO model. Not much to comment on regarding the sets that weren't shown at the event. Toa Smoke Monster
I agree that there should be a Smaug set. I loved how he looked in the last Hobbit movie, so I hope the set does him justice. And the TMNT TV show sets looked good. I really liked the one with Spiderbites in it. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story. Toa Zaz
A (good) Smaug set could be amazing. The question is how they could accurately depict a creature of that size. A constraction-oriented build, maybe? Preferably at least the size of the Invasion from Below Queen. Or I guess they could do something akin to the Ninjago dragons. Hopefully they don't do something like the Harry Potter dragon, or just make a really detailed head or something. Quote Thank you, BZPower staff.
