The Mugbearer
"Only six Matoran were left free to oppose them." — Narrator, If a Universe Ends Here, have my renditions of six valiant rebels from Voya Nui. Before you ask, yes, there are inconsistencies (read: asymmetries) in their color schemes, it is intentional because in my book Karzahni is obsessed with asymmetry in everything (have you ever seen his mask?) And even then, Garan and Kazi came out quite symmetrical. Sigh. Anyway. I was not happy with some of Voyatorans’ tools (visually), so I decided to revamp them a bit. The most notable changes belong to Dalu, Kazi and Velika. Dalu now wears a pair of charger clamps that are wired directly to her body, hence their ability to drain her own powers. Kazi’s tools are simple yet brilliant: tuning forks! With Velika I went down the total reimagination road, with him having a cybernetic hammer arm and a chisel that suppose to perform the same task as his power carvers. * * * Now folks remember, if you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
These are really, really cool! I like the feet a lot, and those custom masks are beautiful. Built masks are fairly rare, but with masks like these I just want more. I love how they all feel broken in a way, hinting at their pasts in Karhzahni. The proportions feel right (for a Matoran at least) but still wonky, as do the mismatched colors. They all still retain so much of their character and personality while being easily recognizable as the Voya Nui Resistance Team. Excellent work keeping them at a small, Matoran-y size. Piruk is my favorite. I'm not a fan of Dalu's weapons. They don't feel fitting for a warrior. The tubes are alright, I just don't like the crab-claw thing. Kazi's weapons are brilliant though. He was supposed to have weaponized tuning forks originally, and you just made them better. I don't like the watermarks either. Elephant Knight
These are all excellent. I saw these on Flickr, but didn't see the descriptions therefore I didn't recognize them at first, but as soon as I saw Piruk, I knew who they were. Piruk is my favorite, due to the fact that I find him the most recognizable. Garan and Kazi are really well done as well, I like them a lot. Toa Han 1 Quote My Flickr. Logan Tec
I actualy like the way you did the mask reminds me of the comic art style for all the background characters from that era 1 Quote one day this will contain greatness only the best.
