Hapori Tohu
It looks like The LEGO Ninjago Movie isn't the only upcoming spinoff from The LEGO Movie that we have to look forward to. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Cartoon Network ordered a TV series titled Unikitty! featuring the fabulous character from the film. Joining in her adventures in Cloud Cuckoo Land will be Puppycorn, her little brother and best friend, Dr. Fox, a scientist, and Hawkodile, Unikitty's bodyguard. Many people from the film will be involved with the show, including Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Dan Lin, and Roy Lee acting as executive producers. No release date has been announced yet, but my guess is that we'll be seeing it this fall. View the full article 2 Quote News Forums Q&A

Lenny7092
It may be girly in my opinion, but I would be interested to watch it! Seems cute and funny, too. Plus, it would be cool to see what Unikitty does when her friends from The Lego Movie aren't around. We could learn more about life in Cloud Cookoo Land (the place that she lives in), too. I am a bit surprising that she will be voiced by a different voice actress in the show rather than the one from the movie, but that's how it goes with movie-connecting TV shows usually. Banana Gunz
Oh man, I really just cannot hate this. It's exciting because it's a LEGO show that (as far as I know) isn't immediately getting sets or being tied to them, which if true would leave its story open to do what it pleases. AND THAT ART STYLE IS SO CUTE AHHH. Having Chris Miller and Phil Lord involved in any way at all is really encouraging. Who knows, if this is successful and of quality maybe we could see other LEGO shows like this, whether Bionicle or otherwise. Seriously though, I'm so glad this show is taking up a unique and interesting art style that gives it its own identity. It could've easily taken the Ninjago route, which although is a nice show really is quite ugly. LEGO minifigures just do not translate well to the screen unless they are done the way The LEGO Movie did it. 1 Quote tumblr: it's a lovely place to be if you've gone madflickr: mah yummy gross pics mmmPew Pew Pew Pew Pew
Noble Tehurye
I can tell right off the bat that no one is going to get away with saying anything bad about this show. So I'm going to refrain from saying that I have a bad feeling about this. Oh wait... ...rats.

Weirdly T.J. Miller won't be part of the Big Hero 6 cartoon cast, even though he's always seemed to have time for the How to Train Your Dragon series. While Unikitty is hilariously awesome...I don't know if it's the kind of awesome that carries it's own series...
