Hapori Tohu
Over in the LEGO Newsroom, a new press release has appeared: Celebrating 60 Years of LEGO Bricks and Endless Creativity. It turns out that the patent for the basic brick was filed in 1958 - 60 years ago! The release is a great look at the LEGO ideals and its rich history of inspiring creativity through play. It's crazy to think that bricks created from that original patent will work with ones made today, six decades later. Let us know in the Talkback about your favorite LEGO memories and why you think the brick has become so enduring. VahiHolder02
Obviously, BIONICLE is among my favorite LEGO memories, especially the early years, but specifically related to this post, my uncle gave me some of his old LEGO, including some of the very first bricks. They're dirty and certainly not as white as they once were, but the fact that they still fit with my other sets was always very special to me. I've always like the sense that it's a toy that crosses generations of fans. Quote https://ideas.lego.com/projects/593592ef-5da6-4a2a-9422-a17e0f8438ea Please help and support this project!
