I forget where I got this from, but I'm going to get a group of friends together and do this sometime this summer No quote because this entry already is a funny quote.

Well That Was Odd

So two nights ago, I had a dream that the trash in my room came to life and was trying to kill me. Then last night I had another dream in which myself and a stormtrooper were stranded on a lava planet, and we had to run from Darth Vader until the Rebel Alliance picked us up in a giant keyboard.   So yah   That's why we can't have dream topics in CoT.

Well Darn...

I was uploading one of my recent MoC to Brickshelf, and I figured "hey this are pretty good, I should make a topic in BBC about it" As I was in the midst of making the topic, I found something out... Brickshelf seems to be having some sort of problem, as a result it appears that all folders have been deleted.   This less than a week after we get Bzp back... Bummer   -Edit: deeplinks still work, but folder links are gone- EditII: I proclaim myself to be the first to find this out, prove m

Wamalug And Aftermath

So I attended my second WAMALUG meeting yesterday, and it went pretty well several people (including BZP member ChocolateFrogs) liked the hands my Bionicle MoC's had (detailed pic's will be up in a day or two)   I also completed a castle scene, which someone described as "one wicked game of chess" I also played with my new Manas, explained how I got a MacTron Takua   There should be pictures up in a day or two, so I'll link to the brickshelf folder   If any other Bzper lives in the DC area,

These Are A Few Of My Favoite Things.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things ... wait, that's not right.   On one message board I frequent, there has been a trend of making a 3x3 grid of your favorite pices of various media. So here are 3 of my 3x3s Games, TVshows, and Music   I realize now that it probably would have been a good idea to make one for lego themes/sets. I guess I'll make that one late

The Most Epic Fight...ever

no, It's not the minifig hand MoC, I'm working on that though   what is IS though, is my best castle creation yet, or at lest a preview pic 1 and Pic 2   also in playing around with Pridak's head, I found some things I thought I'd share All hail king Pridak This makes him look like that guy from Star Trek I'd love to see this used as armor(it works with any Barraki head)       USA Today has come out with a new survey: Apparently three out of four people make up 75 percent of the populat

The Dragon Age

(I really should make a seperate video games category, but whatever) During the week of Thanksgiving I bought Bioware's most recent game Dragon Age: Origins After 50+ hours of playing, I have completed the game one and a half times. (A life... what's that?)   Anyway, I loved it. I enjoy Bioware's games, and I'm a sucker for anything fantasy. My two characters so far are: Thorin the dwarf commoner » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «He bravely sacrificed his own life to end t

The Boss

I saw Bruce Springsteen yesterday night. It was pretty awesome, except he didn't play Thunder Road   Born to Run was epic though, everyone was singing along. Although I started to feel sick so I had to duck out during the last song.         "The roundest knight at king Arthur's round table was Sir Cumference. That Thar 57th Bbc

It figures we have such a cool contest when I have absolutely zero chance to MoC Anyway, I had a few ideas, and since I have no way to enter, feel free to steal.   Lightsaber: Anything from the size of the prop in the movie to the size of the plastic toy ones they sell. Blade optional, but it would be cool it you could pull it off.   Headcrab: Half-life is sci-fi enough, fairly easy shape and it works in several colors   SSV Normandy: With Mass Effect 2 on several BZpers minds I imagine th

Thanksgiving

My fellow Americans... [/dubya] Happy thanksgiving to all who choose to celebrate it I plan on editing this entry with how much food I eat tonight   Also my anatomy teacher did some math an he figures to work off all the calories that the (mabye slightly below) average person consumes at thanksgiving, you would have to walk about 20 miles (that's about 38 and 1/4 KM for you metric folk)   on a totally unrelated note i have guaranteed a spot on the school swim team with a 28 second(I neede

So Long, Useless Hunk Of Meat

Ow... I got my appendix removed Wendsday, and yesterday was my first full day back at home. Today is the first day I fell well enough to do anything, it still hurts to move my upper body, and getting up from a sitting o laying position is a nightmare. I was actually able to eat solid food yesterday night. I also noticed that I'm lot more thirsty than I was before.     So yah, needless to say I won't be able to do anyting for a few days (Including the WAMALUG meeting, sorry ChocolateFrogs)

Self Moc In Progress

I mad this a while ago, so i's already been tweaked a bit (more trans green, more armor and bulk) but I could use some more people's comments on this Folder (don't worry it's public)   I'm working on a whole team (well three more), here's the back story so far:   The air member of a four Toa team(the one shown, if I write a story it will be told from his prespective) (Earth, Ice, Fire, Air I'll make the rest later) the team's duty was to defeat a BoM member oppressing some island (whatever

Recent "news"

For all those reading this tiny two post blog, I'm sure none of you are thinking "gee ouch, I wish I could decide what new Lego sets to buy!" well I can (kinda) help. Here are my recommendations on some of my more recent sets: Tie Crawler: Pros: Rare tread pieces New minifigs Cons: $50.00 USD Few new pieces It's mostly blue, when really Tie crawlers are light gray   I recommend it if you really want the treads or can't live without shadow stormtroopers   Dwarven mi

Random Musings

So I'm going to see Watchmen this weekend, but that's not the important thing. The important thing is that I am watching Watchmen, 300 and the '04 remake of Dawn of the Dead... for English class.   This is better than that time I wrote an essay about my favorite song for English class. I suppose my teaches has stopped caring, just like the rest of us, I'm a second semester senior and officially done with trying (don't read that kiddies)     Also, someone should have done an Alestorm song for

My Thoughts On Hero Factory

I don't really care for them.   The weapons are nice, but it feels like they are too action figurey. I guess that's what sells now. I was disappointed when Bionicle took this direction, but I kept collecting them (or at least trying to) out of some sense of dedication to the series, but now that it's over I think I'll pass on the Hero Factory sets. That is unless some future set really knocks my socks off, but I kind of doubt that will happen.   All in all, I'm sad to finally see the Bionicl

My Head Hurts

So I recently finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. And I decided to follow that up with Gurren Lagann. Oh my goodness   You know those people who run out of hot tubs into the snow? This is like that for my brain! Any way they're both excellent series, you should check them out if you have never seen either.       "Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do “practice”?" ~George Carlin
