These Are A Few Of My Favoite Things.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things ... wait, that's not right.   On one message board I frequent, there has been a trend of making a 3x3 grid of your favorite pices of various media. So here are 3 of my 3x3s Games, TVshows, and Music   I realize now that it probably would have been a good idea to make one for lego themes/sets. I guess I'll make that one late

Ouch, Clean Up This Mess!

As your droves of raving comments show, everyone on bzp seems to love reading about my life. Well they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a few pictures of my dorm. Holy cow, I think the smell is being transmitted though the internet! Get some air fresheners QUICK! But yah, my room's a mess, The worst part is the boxes, I should really do something abour those. An Rpg Idea I Had

With the RPG planning topic dead and the actual approval system in limbo, I figured I’d at least get a little bit of feedback here.   A little while ago I played the visual novel (Looks like a video game, but it’s basically a choose your own adventure book with music) Fate/Stay night and I thought that with some modification it would make a cool RPG.     Introduction: “I ask of you: Are you my master?”   The Holy Grail. Ancient legendary heroes. Welcome to the world of fate/stay night an

Well That Was Odd

So two nights ago, I had a dream that the trash in my room came to life and was trying to kill me. Then last night I had another dream in which myself and a stormtrooper were stranded on a lava planet, and we had to run from Darth Vader until the Rebel Alliance picked us up in a giant keyboard.   So yah   That's why we can't have dream topics in CoT.

That Thar 57th Bbc

It figures we have such a cool contest when I have absolutely zero chance to MoC Anyway, I had a few ideas, and since I have no way to enter, feel free to steal.   Lightsaber: Anything from the size of the prop in the movie to the size of the plastic toy ones they sell. Blade optional, but it would be cool it you could pull it off.   Headcrab: Half-life is sci-fi enough, fairly easy shape and it works in several colors   SSV Normandy: With Mass Effect 2 on several BZpers minds I imagine th

Commander Shepard Is Terrifying Part Ii: The Return Of The Revenge

So in Mass Effect 2, fan favorite, Tali'zorah returns as a party member. This time the player can peruse a romantic relationship with her. These pictures are taken from that romance   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «PS: not really  Got ME2 Tuesday, didn't sleep that night and pretty much didn't do anything but play until I beat it. Bad idea? probably.   It was a great success, I kept everyone alive, and told off the Illusive Man. I am ready for Mass Effect 3 already.

Who's Up For It?

I forget where I got this from, but I'm going to get a group of friends together and do this sometime this summer No quote because this entry already is a funny quote.

My Thoughts On Hero Factory

I don't really care for them.   The weapons are nice, but it feels like they are too action figurey. I guess that's what sells now. I was disappointed when Bionicle took this direction, but I kept collecting them (or at least trying to) out of some sense of dedication to the series, but now that it's over I think I'll pass on the Hero Factory sets. That is unless some future set really knocks my socks off, but I kind of doubt that will happen.   All in all, I'm sad to finally see the Bionicl

The Dragon Age

(I really should make a seperate video games category, but whatever) During the week of Thanksgiving I bought Bioware's most recent game Dragon Age: Origins After 50+ hours of playing, I have completed the game one and a half times. (A life... what's that?)   Anyway, I loved it. I enjoy Bioware's games, and I'm a sucker for anything fantasy. I Am So Gosh Darn Productive

So instead of taking notes today in calculus, I decided to doodle. Normally my drawings are horrid, but these turned out decent. I sketched up some tracks for the old SNES game F-zero. (Ignore the scribbles, I started taking notes in german class, but then realized that we weren't doing anything important today.) See them here (warning 1700x2338, BIG)   The Big blue is listed as such because I couldn't remember if there was already a Big blue II course in the game or not.   On the subject of

It's Finally Time

So I leave for college tomorrow. Occasionally i think "am I ready to leave home?" Then I remember that the eleven-year-olds in Harry Potter are just fine going away for school. So yah....     "Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry." ~Bill Cosby

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man, for precisely the same reason" ~Douglas Adams

The Boss

I saw Bruce Springsteen yesterday night. It was pretty awesome, except he didn't play Thunder Road   Born to Run was epic though, everyone was singing along. Although I started to feel sick so I had to duck out during the last song.         "The roundest knight at king Arthur's round table was Sir Cumference. My Head Hurts

So I recently finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. And I decided to follow that up with Gurren Lagann. Oh my goodness   You know those people who run out of hot tubs into the snow? This is like that for my brain! Any way they're both excellent series, you should check them out if you have never seen either.       "Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do “practice”?" ~George Carlin

So I finally got portal today. Needless to say, I am ashamed I never got it earlier, it's so fun.   Unfortunately I can't play it too much because I have a research project that is 25% of my grade in Environmental Science due soon     "No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery." ~Unknown

Well Darn...

I was uploading one of my recent MoC to Brickshelf, and I figured "hey this are pretty good, I should make a topic in BBC about it" As I was in the midst of making the topic, I found something out... Brickshelf seems to be having some sort of problem, as a result it appears that all folders have been deleted.   This less than a week after we get Bzp back... Bummer   -Edit: deeplinks still work, but folder links are gone- EditII: I proclaim myself to be the first to find this out, prove m

Random Musings

So I'm going to see Watchmen this weekend, but that's not the important thing. The important thing is that I am watching Watchmen, 300 and the '04 remake of Dawn of the Dead... for English class.   This is better than that time I wrote an essay about my favorite song for English class. I suppose my teaches has stopped caring, just like the rest of us, I'm a second semester senior and officially done with trying (don't read that kiddies)     Also, someone should have done an Alestorm song for

Might As Well Post This

Just a little micro space ship I put together. I got the idea for the "tail" when I was playing around with parts, and it evolved from that. It's called the Stingray because of it's shape. Also, if you look on one of the underside shots, you can see the bit of cloth I stuffed in there to hide the massive hole. Said hole came from poorly thought out SNOT. The Cloth is a lego cape though, so it's still 100% Lego.   Gallery     "Red meat is not bad for you, fuzzy green meat is bad for you." ~U
