Well, hi again, all. Sorry I scared you, TMD. The South was so much fun.
Georgia went very well. The drive last Friday/Saturday was really, really long and hot and humid, but it was awesome to look out the window when we drove through South Carolina and Georgia and see

I shall be leaving today for Brunswick, Georgia today, for a work project on assorted houses there. I shall be gone from today until very late on the 21st/very early on the 22nd.
I will also have no Internet access whatsoever, so if something important comes up and I need to be PMed or something like that, please remember that I will not be able to respond until next Saturday, at the least.

We had a minorly major incident today with a couple of the boys beating each other up. O_o We shall now keep them seperated. Or threaten to put them with the girls when they misbehave. Both work fairly well.

The VBSGDC train rolled a little bumpier this morning. I thought I was gonna puill my hair out, what, with the way some of the younger boys didn't listen... ARG.

The reaction to the drama today was hilarious. One of the 'mean teens' that happens to be my blondie-brained friend in the play gets stung at the very end, and she's deathly allergic. Five minutes after the lights go down on the stage,

Well, VBS went pretty smoothly again this morning. We had some problems with kids quarreling around 11 or so (we have Rec acd Snackage last, and most kids tend to get cranky if they're hungry), but other than that, it went well.
Tomorrow will be awesome. It's big-dramatic-drama-day-where-something-bad-happens. Dundundun!!!!! 8O
And yeah, got to go to the doctor's. Yay.

Ah, VBS. That awesome time of insanity and excitement that drains all the adult and youth workers who participate in it.
But hey, it went well for its first day. We have around 230 kids enrolled so far, with more coming tomorrow. To save time and frustration, we had to merge the Worship/Teach-the-songs-and-motions section with the Opening, and it worked fairly well, as the motions this year are much easier to remember.
Niki went to the movie theater yesterday.
Niki saw Transformers.
Niki liked Transformers.
Niki didn't like so much off-color stuff in Transformers.
The animation made it worth Niki's money, though.

Niki now wants to watch TV Transformers, as Niki has not watched Transfomers since Beast Wars first appeared on television.

I keep getting bombarded on the fifth level and lose all my power-up stuff within seconds. ;.;
EDIT: Well, I finally managed to survive enough to actually get pass level 6 and get the MoLf code for the first screen, and now I have to re-do the whole thing with the MoLf thing... and I got stuck on level 5 again and died. ;;
EDIT2: Yay, I passed it with the MoLf. =D

I've recently learned that over the past couple weeks, someone I work with during the week has been severely hurt, emotionally, by what I've been doing.
It's hit me hard, as this person is an extremely important person to me. I had no clue what I had done until I was pulled aside by 3 different adults, who set me straight.
What's horrible is that I've become the kind of person I swore I'd never be...
I've fallen into a rut of depression because of this knowledge... and it's making me f
I learned something important today.
Always, always, always make sure to eat something if you know you will be doing back-breaking labor for four hours straight without breaks. Even if you did eat breakfast at 10:30 and your mother tells you to eat lunch at 12 when you are still working off breakfast.
