Had an old CD, thought I'd play with it. There's a video on it.
Anyway, I covered it in fingerprints, ran it along a carpet, and played frizbee with it. It still worked.
Maybe CDs are a lot tougher than we think they are?
I'm starting up a podcast here on BZP. This was planned a year ago, but never got off the ground. You can audition for it now.
Live from BZ-Koro is back!
Yo, doods. Time for the long-awaited part 2! I waited until we had two play sessions in before writing this.
Anyway, unfortunately, I won't be able to say much about it, due to spoilers. However:
The adventure that comes with it is called 'Beneath the Village of Harken'. It's called a short adventure, but we've got about an hour and a half out of it so far and are about half way, so it should last a fair while.
It's mostly combat, but we have a had a few interesting Roleplaying bits. To
Review: Dungeons and Dragons Roleplaying Game Starter Set
Well, everyone, here's part one of my review of the new Starter Set. Part one will focus on what's actually in the box, while part two will say what it's like to actually play the game.
The game came in a cardboard box, with all these plastic sausage things in it. They're fun.
I got the game off a really good site called GamesLore.com, if anyone's interested.
The box itself is bigger than I imagined. I pictured a small yet
A couple of friends and me have started learning how to play Dungeons and Dragons, 4th Edition. I shall be posting a review of the Starter Set soon. I got it yesterday.
The last few days have been unbelievable. We've seen teaser art of Mata-Nui, we've seen a comic, and we've seen a CGI video of the Great Spirit awakening.
I honestly haven't been this excited about Bionicle since late 2003.
What do you guys think of the end of the 'first chapter'? Good? Bad?
I'm very pleased. I had a few fears, none have been realised.
A while ago, I bought the Bahrag (and some other stuff) off the member Anthony Dalek. I've finally got around to building the blue one (Gahdok, I think) and I'm very pleased. It's a nice, complex build, and they're great fun to play with. One wee thing I've noticed, though, about the older sets in general.
So, I've been a Bionicle fan since the start. I remember a lot of stuff newer fans won't. And I remember when I first saw the Bahrag. It was in a Lego Magazine - I wasn't on BZP until 2003
Well, fellas, we are nearing the end of 2008. For me, the last year of Bionicle. In two months we will see what Mata-Nui looks like. I hope we won't be disappointed.
So, tell me, are you excited? I'm dreading it. I've been an avid Bionicle fan for seven years, and, to me, it ends this year.
Opinions?
Sorry 'bout the Linux entry. It'll happen.
Anyway, I got Kopaka Phantoka today - believe it or not, my first '08 set!
I think it's pretty good, actually. I'm one of those freaks who misses the gears, so I'm still annoyed that it's going action-figurish. However, I'm glad that his mask at least slightly resembles his Nuva form - although I don't like the red thing. The wings are pretty cool, and the Midak is massive! It does, however, make balancing Kopaka quite tricky.
He's a pretty
I haven't really been around on this blog much. I've had a lot on, from Duke of Ed to my new Linux. The next entry will be from said Linux, 'cos I think it's awesome.
I've started writing an epic here. 'Tis called The Return. I tried to give it the '2001 feel'. Not many people have reviewed it, so if y'all would that'd be nice.

Got another approval today, this time from KajI.
Seems the 'Time to Embarrass the Staff' entry's really popular. There's another round of 'em coming up soon, by the way.
We were all new at one point. A lot of the time, when we were new, we said things that now really embarrass us.
A lot of the staff were new at one point. I've taken a look way back, to find some of the earliest posts by our staff members.
By the way, I mean no offense to any of the staff. It's just a bit of fun.
Any staff that don't have a quote is because I couldn't find anything.
This first one comes from Bonesii, in what I think was a quiz topic:
The next one is from our
This is a cry for help going out to all RPers.
Some of you veterans may remember the BZPRPG Wiki. It sort of died.
You can see where this is going.
I have created a Wiki for all RPGs on BZP. It had a few articles, but I deleted them to clear it up, start again.
Both me and BZP member Shyyrn are Sysops - the Wiki word for Admins. Any questions, PM me, or ask here.
Please, it's in desperate need of articles. I aim to have this as the ultimate reference guide for RPers. Have characters? Ma
