A Mission Fulfilled

If I counted correctly (which, chances are, I did ), then my Premier Membership will be expiring tomorrow... and besides, Dlakii said something about me getting PM on his birthday or whatever, so I must be right. XD   That said, I consider my mission to be fufilled... I had a summertime of Bloggehness, which I didn't entirely use that much... which basically means that I won't be renewing Premierness again in the near future, if at all. But it was fun. I'll be reverting the Blog back to its or

The Fortress Is Taken!

It is over...   Oh, wait, wrong movie.   Anyway, Boromir served well, but I lost a considerable amount of notoriety under the name. XD Good luck, Faramir; it's all up to you now. Watch out for Orcs. They might kill you.   DudeNuva

A Symbol Of Fear

"The Emperor rules the galaxy through fear. You must destroy a symbol of that fear." -- Darth Vader to his Apprentice   My Star Destroyer has been completed on schedule.   I didn't have many shortages; those I did have were in one specific area, and I managed to get around those. All in all, I got some good resources for this project, and they prevailed.   About half of my Imperial minifigs are now on display in the Star Destroyer's bridge. They look AWESOME, especially because I designed

Harboring A Grudge

Most people must not like Boromir or something, because ever since I made the theme change, no one has been commenting here. Except Tor.   But hey, he comments on anything.   Anyway... status report... I had an interesting weekend, the majority of which was spent simmering, typically while venting my anger into my new Star Destroyer and making it the most powerful in the galaxy. >8D   And... the rest of my weekend was mainly playing Xbox.   So yeah. The main deck of my Star Destroyer

Boromir Builds A Star Destroyer

Just picture it.   ...   My work here is done.   Nah, so here's the deal, I'm working on a Star Destroyer command bridge for use in my movies and, overall, just to be awesome and have one. It'll be a nice size, good design, lots of high-quality minifigs... it'll be fun to build, too. As soon as I get around some architectural hurtles... XD   So yeah, when it's finished and stuff, I'll have pics. And of course, you'll see it ASAP in a movie.   (BTW, Imperial Inspection is still alive. But l

The Force Unleashed

*walks in happily, humming the TFU theme*   So yeah, I've not been here much for the last two weeks... a good deal of that is because of The Force Unleashed, which I bought for the Xbox 360 on the day it came out and haven't stopped playing since.   It's really good. But with that is also a small bit of bad. I'll outline the main points.   THE FORCE UNLEASHED: DUDENUVA'S REVIEW  The story is easily the greatest aspect of this game, gameplay aside. They did such a good job of bridging the t

Dudenuva Begins

Now that I've pulled you all in with a variation on Batman Begins, I can get semi-into the topic.   First off, I've been recently scouring the internet searching for soundtracks (checking websites such as Rhapsody, Amazon, and the like), and I found several good ones. Now, unfortunately, they don't include Batman Begins. So I'm still in a tight spot there.   However, The Dark Knight, Dead Man's Chest, and At World's End were all there. So I bought several of the MP3's from each of those Pirat

Oh, What?

Nah.   School doesn't start in two days.   Get out.   Yeah, I've been gone for... eh, two weeks now. I have gotten nothing done in that time, save for my summer reading, which you wouldn't be interested in at all. Heck, I wasn't.   So yeah, DudeNuva-wise, I've not done anything.   Nothing.   Nadda.   Zilch.   Zero...   Oh, what was I saying? Oh yeah. Get out.

New Obsession

You ever been a really big fan of a particular Lego theme, and then suddenly, you really like another theme?   That just happened to me.   While I'm usually the LSW guy, I have a new, almost-equal obsession with Lego Batman. Not that I can get any sets, though. I have no money. Which is good, I guess. XD Just want to ride it out.   In other news...   Just to be weird, I'm going to lead you into thinking there's something else, then blatantly fool you when I say there is nothing else.   No

Chicago

And no, I'm not talking about the musical. Chicago: The Musical is just all-out psychopathical. Like Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. Except instead of a guy with a purple coat and war paint, it's a bunch of... you know what, how about I stop now and get to the point.   So Torhuki just flew off to Chicago for his trip to that Lego Discovery Center or whatever, which is an amusement park of some sort. There's also a Lego Store there. I WANT TO BE THERE.   He even has a chance of meeting A

Surrender Of Legolas

Well, I changed my name, which must mean that Arenethas won.   The name of my blog has also changed. That was pure impulse. And the "Why do we fall?".... Well, we all know where that comes from. And we all know the answer.   I've just resurrected my blog after about a month of inactivity, and the last time I was here, Legolas was shiny and new. Now he's a thing of the past. And most of all, I'm sure you seriously don't feel like hearing about it.   So, some updates from the life of DudeNuv

Voice Actors Needed!

I need some new voice actors for my Lego Star Wars films, since there are too many parts for myself and my few other actors to completely cover!!!   If you have a good microphone and would like to voice a character in one (or more!) of my films, please don't hesitate to PM me for more information, and a script, if on hand.

Commandos, The Joker, And Xbox, Oh My!

I know I haven't posted an entry in a long time, been very busy, and I'm likely to remain that way. (Limited internet time, that is.) But anyway, some fresh new thoughts:     The four Batman films from the past two decades are fairly well-known, the first more so than the others. Jack Nicholson famously portrayed the Joker in the first film, a role that is now a large part of pop-culture. This summer, The Dark Knight is hitting theaters as the sequel to 2005's Batman Begins, and this time arou

No Way!

Actual content?   Ever noticed how putting thoughtful and reflective content into your entry is basically reply suicide? (Although ToM seems to get away with it all the time, I wonder how he does it...)   Anyway, here are some updates:   I'm playing Lego Indy: TOA constantly... I just finished up Last Crusade last night, and after hearing the background music in those levels, I've decided that I'm getting the score. XD And I'm gathering up lots of bonuses and minifigures now, finally got a

The Last Day Of School

CAUTION: THIS ENTRY CONTAINS POTENTIALLY HARMFUL ANNOYANCE   Friday was the "official" last day of school, but today and tomorrow are Finals days. Today, therefore, was the last time that I'm going to see a lot of people until next year... and then of course, there are some that I won't see at all next year, at least during classtime, and I hardly have any time otherwise. That's the issue that I'm quite upset about, and something that I'm going to try and change.   There were some people in pa

Three Days

Three days until my birthday... I already got one present, the soundtrack for The Empire Strikes Back. And ironically, today is my friend's birthday, he's three days older than me...   Anyway, I finally saw Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and I was pleasantly surprised. Here's my rating; better than Temple of Doom, just as good as Raiders, and not as good as Last Crusade. (Last Crusade was my favorite of the trilogy, and still is the favorite of the series. Sean Connery FTW.)   And they tied t

Soundtracks

Anyone ever seen Family Guy: Blue Harvest? It's a Star Wars parody.   (After looking at the burning mass that was John Williams and the LSO) "Oh my god! John Williams! Just great, now we have to do the rest of this thing with Danny Elfman."   The funniest part is when Chris lightsabers his head off in the middle of the Market Street theme. XD   Anyway, moving on...   STILL haven't seen Crystal Skull. On the other hand, as previewed by the above random reference, I just received two soundtra
