Right, so I kinda' forgot about my blog, and somehow posted my BZP anniversary but not my birthday, which came before... huh.
Anyway, my birthday party kinda' sucked, 'cause my friend brought his Xbox 360 and all my other friends gravitated to it and gamed all night. After I got bored, they just kept on gaming...
But my actual birthday was great. Had another sort of party, with a bunch of my adult sort-of aquaintance friends. =P I got a bunch of epic gifts, played some fun games, etc.

I apologize for this spew and you don't need to actually read it I just needed to get it all out okay so let me break this down I have roughly two weeks until finals. In the grand scheme, that means 3 weeks until I need to start job hunting for the summer or (heaven forbid it comes to this) go back to my old job. So that is a giant stress but let's go more immediate I have two large projects to do as finals, two large written tests, and three practical proficiency tests on top of the wee
Okay, we're up to date now, here's the seventh and eighth models for each calendar: So, on the seventh of december, we get what is possibly the coolest model yet: an RC fire truck with a remote. At first I was thinking it was a kind of stupid looking car, but then I realized it was a firetruck and was awed. Kind of. It's a pretty cool little thing, I think. And today we get (brace yourselves) another brick wall. But this time with skis! Now the only thing I don't get is why does a fire hall
Star trek= Best frickin' movie I've ever seen! I thought all the actors were amazing, save for Sarek. I didn't like him. But, oh, what an amazing movie. The new Enterprise kicks butt, and the Kelvin's collision course was awesome. I can not remember seeing a better movie in my life. I went to see it first night, in full security uniform, and stood in line for 2 hours. When the movie was over, we couldn't even get out of the theatre because it was so packed with people to see the 9:00 showing. It
hey so I realized I've talked about my times in music college a little here, but I've never actually posted anything that I've done there. I don't know if anyone will be interested in it, but I've got A WEBSITE that has 5 songs up on it (mostly finished, minus some tweaks I want to make), all of which I wrote and played and produced. The styles range from doom metal to pop rock to new age/trance to prog rock, so hopefully one of them might be to your liking. I'd appreciate any feedback you may h
That was SO not a filter bypass. I didn't space out the letters or anything, I used a different word. Like Heck instead of the other one. You people can be extremely unreasonable sometimes. I didn't even break any rules.

Well, I've been listening to Megadeth's 13th studio album non-stop since about... 6:30pm last night. It's pretty freakin' awesome... I'll admit, there are a few songs that are slightly disappointing, but as an album I think it holds up really well with their other stuff. The remade songs (New World Order, Black Swan, Millennium Of The Blind) are all fantastic. The first two aren't very different from their earlier versions, but some cool stuff was added. The last, however, is an almost comple
Would anyone be able to steer me in the direction of a cool Star Wars DVD box set? I like my DVD collection to look nice and coherent with box sets rather than individual DVDs but all I can ever find for Star Wars is blu-ray. Anyone have one they'd recommend or know of a good one to get?
I'm lost on ideas for things to draw. I can't think of anything good... Anyone got any ideas?
That reminds me, I gotta get to Iro's request this weekend...

Day ten already, jeez. December's a third over already! Still have my birthday in three days though so yay. Also my BZP anniversary in six days - 8 years, I believe. Anyway, the calendars: ...yeah. Tires and a trolly. I'm grateful for the trolly as I don't have one yet, but... how is this christmas-y? Snow tires maybe? But for what vehicle? Some of these days have been really strange. Anyway yeah, you get four tires but the trolly can only hold three and it's red. That is all. -----------
Where everything just goes perfectly, and there's absolutely nothing to complain about? 'Cause I'm having one right now. I got to sleep in, and then I got up at 9:30 to get a ride with my friend to the theatre to practice for the talent show tonight. Our rehearsal went amazing, and on the drive around we jammed to some Megadeth cassettes my friend found in his truck. We went to Subway afterwards, which I've not been to in ages, and then we just kinda' hung out in town with another friend, vi
On vinyl. B) Bit not worth it maybe, $22 for a beat-up copy, that's pretty scratched... but it was a gift for my dad, and now I get to listen to it whenever.
Day 11, a bit late because Clone Wars all day. So, that's what the tires were for. I really should've seen that coming. However, either way, I was pretty stoked on this one - who doesn't love little go cart things? It's deceptively simple, using less pieces than that mini Naboo starfighter a few days back. But I quite like it. (FYI the tires from yesterday go on it; it doesn't come with its own). -------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no idea wha
Welp, day 2. Again we'll start with City, but first that picture I promised of the fireman from yesterday: Now, on day 2 we get a strange bit of pieces that make up a wonderful looking little chainsaw and log. It's a pretty neat design if I do say so, and the minifigures can hold it perfectly. I am a bit disappointed with the log, because as far as I know there is no tree bit to go on top, but I suppose that's not quite the point of the thing; more to be cutting for firewood. Still, though,
I got a Rarity! It wasn't really awkward at all 'cause the cashier was really grumpy and only said "want a bag?" Anyway I got some pics here for some people: Pony Prices Me looking especially dorky with a pony So yeah. Now to style her hair properly... thank god there's a DA tutorial for that! Also new episode was awesome. Laughed a lot.
Well, Summer's rolled in. After about a week of rainy weather, the sun is shining. I'm sitting on the deck of our new house, basking in the sun on a lounge chair, listening to tunes, and typing this blog entry. Life is good. Unfortunately, there's still about two weeks of school left, so I can't relax completely.
My new room is a converted workshop, so I can't move in 'till we get the carpet down. Probably be doing that today or tomorrow. New house is right across from DQ, so staying cool wo
Firstly you all know I got my diver's license, so I've been driving around and enjoying myself thoroughly, blasting Queensryche, Styx, and Bruc Dickinson. B) Aside from that, I finally got my volunteer hours for grad done today, working at an NFP secondhand store, testing the electronics (VCRs, tape players, etc.) and pricing them with a friend. Also went for a drive just now to walmart for fun, bought some reese's and Nightwish's "Imaginaerum". Listening to it, it's good, but I'll have to w
I will give you life, you'll serve only me, and my will to kill, you will kill for me... Wrong thing. Anyway, I'm taking woodwork next semester, and I have grand plans indeed. It has been done before, but not by me: I wish to hand-craft my own 7-string electric guitar from scratch. I don't know if I can do it, or if I'll have enough time, but here's what I plan it to look like (not the easiest of shapes, I know): The Tocher Crescent Design Scrap So yeah. Ambitious, I know - especially be
Yeah, made a few slight tweaks, and gave him a cutie mark: Based off a Toa Of Sonics, so he has very good hearing. Thus ^^^ TOO LOUD. Also made this guy, who is supposed to be a vague representation of me IRL: I don't like this one as much, because seeing it now, he looks kinda' greenish... and the cutie mark didn't work so well, and I had square glasses on him but they vanished somehow. So yeah.
So I just bought Yes' "Fragile" on vinyl, and it's awesome. However, the copy I bought has a ton of background noise due to surface scratches. Never skips, but is pretty crackly. The store had 3 copies (all used) and all had some issues. One looked like it had some deeper scratches. So, should I keep this one and deal with the crackle, or try and return it and grab one of the other copies, which may be better or worse?
