Remember when I said that now there are holidays and I should have more time? Well, what I didn't mention (because I think at that point I didn't know yet/hadn't decided) that I would go to uni and work on my master thesis in July (aka, now). And what I certainly didn't know was that I would also start a small job in parallel. It's nothing huge, some other phd-student asked me whether I'd like to do some measurements instead of her, with payment, of course. I thought it would be nice to gather

is actually a lot harder than it should be when at least a third of your everyday wardrobe consists of Halloween-worthy stuff. Plus most of my accessoires were from the Halloween section, assembled over several years ^^ So I fear I don't look all that different today, save for the hairband with bat wings and googly eyes. :3
Finally finished the last exam from the previous semester... whew. That was a lot, but at least now all I'll have to do will be exams from the current semester, so that leaves more time for working on my master thesis, which is something I might start with at some point this week? Overall I'm relieved now though, because I got another large chunk done.
Meh... sleepy days and deadlines for comics do clash... and lead to the creation of short 'Complaint comic's. Always. Some of you blog-readers might remember that I said something about a CGed entry - I gave up the idea because I saw what other people can do with a computer, and so... well.
Here's ther first entry idea, but I didn't add text, so I'll explain - it's a machine to bring the dead back to life. ^^
I've never been all too fond of people comparing my drawings to rage faces or other memes. It annoys me greatly, because it makes me feel like my stuff is not original at all. Sure, that's kinda the risk someone takes when abstracting heavily, because a circle will always look like a circle. Stickmen look like people. Emoticons like faces. Still. ._. Anyone else feeling like this? :/

Now, a few weeks later, I by the same book, and learn about a new technique - white pencil on black paper. so my mum has to buy a black sketchbook for me.

I've been meaning to write this down for a while now - you see, this semester I am taking a course on acoustics. And there is a lot of mathematical stuff going on, fourier analysis and what not. Anyway, the thing is, I am endlessly amazed how what we perceive as harmonic, as orderly, coincides with a certain mathematic description.
