Oh boy, this reminds me of a terrible line from a movie. And this also reminds me that I'm basically never happy when my mind is blank because I've been born with an inherent need to analyze and contemplate. having a blank mind to me is more akin to emptiness, which I don't quite equate with happiness.

EDIT: ... ... ... WAIT A MINUTE! Did you seriously disprove the stereotype that only men are content to occasionally think of nothing?

I'm not usually happy when I can't think of anything to blog about, but I know both feelings separately.

Please allow me to point out that I wasn't happy because my mind was blank. It was the other way round. Sorry if my wording was a bit unclear. ^^'

But I have to admit that I don't mind the occasional blankness. The keyword is occasional. If it happens too often, I do get nervous about it.

I was just saying that it's usually the times that I'm not happy when I can't think of anything to blog about... not that I blog most of the time anyway.
