Okay, I'm going to do my first "Blog Fire Drill" tomorrow -- this will consist of changing all of the entries to drafts and timing it to see how long it takes. After I keep my blog like that for a few minutes, I'll change it back and post the time. I'll be eager to see if anyone will be able to beat it.
Of course, it really depends on how many entries you have, and how docile the server is feeling at the moment. Lots of variables.

Well, you can probably tell by now that I'm loving this blog thing, so I had an idea. What if I were to have a "Blog Fire Drill" of sorts, just to see how quickly I can evacuate my blog in case of an emergency? I could change all of the entries to drafts, and time how long it took to do; that could be the evacuation time.
And then members could compare evacuation times, etc. It could become like a fad or something.
Or we could even have Lock Down Drills, to see how quickly you can lock
I think I'm going to go with a 2003 Matoran style for my sprites, guys. Deep down, it feels right. My soul-searching is done.
But unfortunately, my hard spriting work is not. :annoyed2:
And actually, you guys can help me out a little with this project. Here's how:

Just for the record, I find it difficult to compose anything without it having at least one little minute element of Fortress in it in the end, no matter what. That song has sunk so deep into my appreciation of music that I can't seem to get it out.
Luckily, all music is related somehow, and I'm pretty sure that I'm removed enough from plagiarism, so it's all good. You can find similarities in music if you look -- they're there all right.

Well, I've revised my goals. Instead of posting as many meaningful entries as possible, I'm going to see how big I can make my left column of meaningful stuff.
I think I covered everything for the most part... helpful topics, funny topics, band topics, a spam museum, even a box dedicated to Fortress. It feels pretty complete.
So I could just continue to post about pointless things like that, or I could actually say something worth reading here.

I am now in possession of the most accurate word counting machine on BZP.
You may ask, where's the culture?
Well, here's the story.
Back in the day, I could post potentially rule-breaking comedy chapters directly from BZP into Microsoft Word. It worked fine for a while, and I could always tell whether a chapter was 300 words or not.
But then one day Word started freezing when I tried to post the comedy chapters in. I tried to paste, but the paste just wouldn't!

As of now, the only thing that's done is my head. But it looks really awesome. =D
Of course, the fact that I really don't know whether I'm a McToran, 2003 Matoran, Toa, or something else is forcing me to stop and answer some vital questions before I continue with the spriting.
