"Murky" and "Falling" are epic. I like "Falling" better, though. B)
Oh, and the remake of "Closer to the Truth" is great, too.
EDIT: After an entire day of listening to the new songs, I changed my vote: I like "Murky" better than "Falling".
I recently dug up a paper draft for LST, containing an unfinished idea for one of the chapters. (Or whatever authors call "deleted scenes" ) I haven't looked at it for a while (hence why it never made it into LST), but it seems pretty interesting now that I'm looking back on it.
Anybody want to see it? Or should I just keep it in the vault?
My friend Jared from my French class showed me this really weird site during lunch yesterday, called cleverbot.com. (As far as I know, there are no forum's attatched to the site; correct me if I'm wrong.) Apparently, you can have a conversation with an AI, which spits back some rather entertaining results. (We had some fun with "FALCON PAWNCH" and Pokemon. )
Oh, and I'm currently addicted to the song "Russian Roulette" by Rihanna. I need an excuse to write a songfic to it someday.
(P.S. I
Apparently, my math class doesn't understand what that word means. "Quiet" isn't in their vocabulary; the concept of "Quiet" is like an unknown language; "Quiet" isn't in their programming; being "Quiet" is inconcivible.
. . . and my parents wonder why my grades in there are low. Imagine trying to take notes in that sort of atmosphere. >_>
Over on my end, it's 7:00PM Pacific Time. Since my fam usually celebrates New York midnight, we'll be raising glasses of sparkling cider/champane in two hours.
Now, resolutions. Uusually I never make resolutions for real life, simply because I know I'll forget them. However, my main one is to get all A's/A-'s by the end of either this semester or the school year, so I can get my hands on a laptop.
BZP resolutions, however, are another story.
Finish History in the Making by this time nex
Apparently, I can pull off a pretty good imitation of him when I put my mind and vocal cords to it. At least, that's what my mom said last night when I did so.

... I am so getting that movie when it comes out on DVD. Seeing it in 3D didn't hurt, either.
*is still drooling in awe over the movie she saw this afternoon*
I hate to say it, but I got fooled by the oldest trick in the book.
I was walking to the library to work on my stuff, when I saw a couple of quarters tied to fishing wire and lying on the ground. Even though I knew about the joke, I went to grab them -- and they got yanked away.
And right when I fell for it, I saw the guy on the other end, hiding in the bushes, with the biggest grin on his face.
We both had a laugh about it, but I'm still annoyed with myself. >.>
Yes, I am back. Not in black, though I am several degrees tanner due to the Hawaiian sun. B)
I'm a little fuzzy-headed right now, since I didn't sleep very much last night on the flight home (though I can blame that on myself -- I watched the few Code Lyoko episodes the airplane's DidgEplayer had on it and listened to music for the majority of the way, and then I couldn't get to sleep ), though I did take a nap earlier this morning. :wakeup2:
But whatever.

(That's Hawaiian for Merry Christmas, in case you want to know =P)
We'll be flying back to the mainland several degrees tanner tomorrow night, arriving at Sea-Tac airport 6:00 AM on Sunday, Pacific time. Sometime that day, we'll celebrate Christmas for real.
Not that I didn't get any gifts today: my mom gave me a silver bracelet, containing the inscription [fancywriting]"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."[/fancywriting] When she bought a bracelet at one
Considering the fact that it's raining outside (though Hawaii rain is different from Washington rain, I have to say ) and we won't be celebrating the holiday until we get home on Sunday, I'm not really all that affected.
I've run into a problem, and I need opinions on something. (I can't explain what this has to do with any of my projects at the time being, so you'll just have to wait.) What you tell me could shape a story I'm writing.
Thanks for the help!
Now that I'm no longer lagged (while I still have the occasional headache, I can probably blame that on the heat), I can go into detail.
For one thing, this place is very inspiring. I can't think of the last time I did this much writing/planning in such a short amount of time. I'm already mostly done with the chapter plans for Wings, even though it's probably gonne wind up muuuuch longer than LST and H&H have been.
And the island itself is beautiful (and WARM, deliciously WARM!). Ther
That really sucks. And I've got a bit of a headache, and I'm still adjusting to the fact that Hawaii's time is two hours behind Pacific time.
But other than that, s'all good. =D
(That was an understatement, BTW)
One more thing: If anyone from the Pacific Northwest wants to come to Hawaii to escape the rain, I suggest you go to California instead. This is a tropical place, after all.
*dashes in and starts throwing stuff into her carry-on bag, as Hawaii Five-O plays in the backround*
So yeah. By this time tomorrow, I'll be away from Washington and on the island of Kaua'i for a week. (*throws her copy of the Iliad, Peeps, and The Secret of Shadow Ranch into the bag*) I'll be celebrating the holidays there, and be back by the 27th (*stuffs notebook, rough drafts, and pencils in*) My cat's being taken care of by my neighbor and BFF Lexas, and I think we'll find her pretty hap
So here I am, sitting at a library computer, waiting for my profile to load (and demanding to thin air yet again an explaination as to why my school district hasn't upgraded their computers to at least Windows Vista), when my friend from French class, Jared (the same Jared that told me about cleverbot.com, FYI) marched into the lab, and said "Hey Fiction (that's his nickname for me, since he often reads my paper drafts over my shoulder when we share seats)! I owe you something."
And then he p
Vorox Chief was the closest, so he is this round's winner!
Answer: The last thing he put on was his shoe, and it contained a deadly spider that bit him, and he died soon after.

I have a list of writing goals I'd like to make progress on in Hawaii. (Two days, people!) They are as follows: Finish details and chapter plan for the LST sequel Work on chapter plan for a Sonic the Hedgehog fic, tentively titled Their World Work on paper draft for the SS Beautiful Nightmares Work on paper draft for the fifth chapter of HitM Work on chapter plan for a Ben Ten fic that's being posted on another site. So yeah. I won't be spending all my time in paradise hang-gliding and surfing.
Even though I'm only a sophomore, I'm already getting hit with educational opprotunities.
A few weeks back, I got a letter from a person that has some adminatrative role at the Willamette University in Salem, OR; apparently they've got an eye on me already. And today in the mail, I got a letter from the People To People -- which is a Washington "educational exploration program" -- offering me an invitation to travel and study abroad in Japan next summer.
Very weird, yet very cool.
My last one before I head to Hawaii. =P
So yeah, I finally wrapped up that BZProvince sub-plot, involving my character, Kagha's, Rockhound's, Xomeron's, and goodness knows how many other people. Hopefully I won't get shot for this.
So I was in first period Chemistry (which is as cold as ever, BTW), and I finished a quiz on balancing equations (I'm pretty sure I passed; there's a reason it's my worst subject :annoyed2:). I should've been doing my chapter problems, but I was scribbling a piece of fanfiction instead.
I happened to look to a row of books Mr. Traxler has on his shelf, and I saw (and I so kid you not) The Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan sitting on the shelf.
Who knew my Chem teacher was A.) a Wheel of Time
I'm seriously ticked off at the forums right now.
All that work I put into getting a profile for my brother . . . and now he can't access it. *blows up a building to make herself feel better*
PS: Six days until Hawaii. =D
After quite a bit of work, I managed to get my little brother an account. (His name is Zen Iceblade, BTW)
He'll be quite happy once he gets home from his basketball game. And so will I.
I've got a Lord of the Flies exam today in English, but I know I'll do good. Besides, there's a truckload of cookies, cake, candied pecans, and chocolate mousse waiting at home for me. *licks lips happily*
BTW: I found out yesterday that my cat likes eating my Rice Krispies. Apparently my mom caught her eating out of my bowl when I was at school.
