I had to write a compare & contrast essay on 2 passages, one by Bill Watterson and Roald Dahl. One was "Drawing Calvin and Hobbes" by of course Bill W. and "Lucky Break" by Roald Dahl. Just thought I'd share that with you seeing as quite a few of you seem to be interested in C&H.
If anyone gets the title reference than +2 internets. Anyway, I made this thing not too long ago. I had no clue there were pics of it, but I guess my dad took some of me with his iPod, seeing as I found them there. It was a head apparatus made of HF limbs, complete with an ear piece and microphone. Here are some pics of me wearing it. -
OH MY GOD ALL THE AVATAR GOODNESS IN A MODERN SOCIETY I CANT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA But will the rest of the season live up to the first 2 episodes? "I will make no such promises"
Uh, I'm probably gonna sound pretty noobish, but I just don't want to post an entire topic for a simple question in S&T The Pakari is the mask of strength. Kakama is the mask of speed. If a Pakari wielder were to use his mask powers on his legs, wouldn't it be practically the same as using a Kakama? I know there's probably some crucial fact that I'm missing that answers my question.
On the subject of BBC contests allowing LDD models. I feel one of the key challenges with MOCing is the MOCers inventory. The amount of parts one has affects how they use them and adds to the challenge. With LDD, you do have an (almost) unlimited supply of parts, but as to how you use them is in a way more difficult. Things must be able to fit perfectly, and such. With actual parts, the way you use and can put on parts varies, from legal to illegal connections. I think having to MOC with reals
!WARNING INCOMING RANT! SUBJECT: BLACK PHANTOM >his chest is too low >why does he have those tentacles I don't even >The red pin sticks through his helmet >His legs are too generic >They use the butt articulation method > The feet are still horrible >them gaps >His back is unappealing >His staff seems longer on the bottom >his upper arms look odd >Thornax launchers >I'm really getting sick of them >It's Rocka XL only slightly better
>Dad comes home >go to see him >ask for gum >he says its in that bag >see big box >see an "S" think it's Scorpio >It's Witch Doctor >"Le Sorcier" >The awkward moment when you get a set you already have >"Oh" So now we plan on returning it, hopefully for Black Phantom. (I'm also planning on getting Guitar Hero Smash Hits)
Do you think I should create a new self MOC in the '06 gold? I mean we have so many parts in the color that '03 gold had become obsolete. This might result in the changing of my kanohi though. (Also new self-MOC because the old one us getting stale)
Because there are people that force me to do this. Now I need someone to turn it into a block to put on the blocks. Okay for some reason the thumb on Mhost was broken?
! WARNING INCOMING RANT ! >The upper body isn't proportioned >The cores sticks out >The weapon is hard to pose >He is generally hard to pose >Old 2010 socket on head >Seriously LEGO can recolor the head but they can't fix a joint >The lower arm is double-jointed >Arms are too short >Over-priced (SERIOUSLY I PAID $20 FOR THIS) >The bag is too big And there's Rocka in a nutshell.
