So far it's looking like if Xenoblade ends up being everything I hope for it'll be this: First Place: Xenoblade Chronicles Second Place: Paper Mario (assuming it comes out this year like it's supposed to) Discovery: Mari0
So after returning from Jamaica, here's the white stuff in between the cookies: I am burnt on my shoulders despite layering them with sunscreen relentlessly. Stupid shoulders. Stupid sock tan. I missed that MLP episode about time and don't even know what it's called anymore. Time to go look it up! I do not enjoy the thought of how bad I'm going to be at TF2 when I return. I saw the 2011 Muppets movie on the airplane today woot. Woot I'm home. Oh wait I'm home and it's stuffy and I don't ge
I was extremely disappointed with both the editors and the readers this time around; especially the readers, because Rayman Origins received not one single award from them. Xenoblade Chronicles better get Wii game of the year for this year, or someone is being hunted down. I'm just saying. Anyway, now I'll share my choices for each of the awards (from the choices that were available): Wii Game of the Year - Rayman Origins 3DS Game of the Year - Mario Kart 7 (would've chosen Star Fox 64 3D, b
Rant/whine entry woot. Seeing as this will be the farthest away I've ever been from anyone in my family, it's comforting to have both of my parents screaming at me the last two nights. I "run away" too much when I'm going to find stuff they want or stuff I need (like sandals, which it looks like I'll have to spend my own cash on while we're in Jamaica), my asking to take Oreos with me is "absurd" when we have an extra package (but spending MORE money to buy Pringles we didn't already have make
So I was playing Team Fortress 2 last night, and there were a lot of hackers on the server. This is the conversation that followed: There's a billion more where those came from.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Year: 2004 Platform: Nintendo Gamecube Series: Paper Mario Developer: Intelligent Systems Publisher: Nintendo Storyline – 8.5/10 In this sequel to Paper Mario, Mario travels to a run-down town called Rogueport in the Mushroom Kingdom after Princess Peach tells him of a magic map she found. In possession of the map (for whatever reason, the Princess enclosed it with her letter), you discover that she... has been kidnapped. After meeting several wacky char
Just a few personal awards. Game of the Year: Portal 2 (PC, PS3, 360) Second Place: Rayman Origins (PS3, 360, Wii) Best Portable Game: Star Fox 64 3D (3DS) Best Older Game Discovered: Team Fortress 2 (PC, PS3, 360) - 2007 Most Anticipated Game of 2012: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) 2nd Most Anticipated Game of 2012: Borderlands 2 (PC, PS3, 360) And a new block to match this, in which I'll be adding my personal games of the year since 2006. Feel free to comment your own; I might add the most p
Just a couple reasons why I think we might get this instead of a pair of Ruby/Sapphire Remakes. The Red/Blue/Green and Gold/Silver remakes came out I believe ten years after the originals; with Black and White 2 announced, that means Ruby/Sapphire remakes in 2013 (ten years after the originals) are impossible. However, a 2015 release for an Emerald remake is still possible. Since Generation 3 each Generation has had 5 "main" Pokemon games: the two new games, the third game that has a slightly d
Thanks to Toa Zehvor MT for sharing his opinions. More game reviews will be coming, so leave any requests you might have in the comments! I will be posting a review I did on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in the next few days. Been a while since I did a BZP video game review, so I figured I'd start with a game that I recently played(well, perhaps recently isn't the right word, it was a few months ago). Skyward Sword is easily the Wii's best game of 2011, but with such a short list of AA
I'm still not sure if I want to see it in Theatres or not. What I am wondering though is if this Spider-Man film reboot will tie into the Avengers film series at all. I will talk about the Hunger Games in my next entry.
So I was gonna do this thing where I would play a different game for one hour each day for 40 days, and I wouldn't be able to play any other video games except from the one scheduled for that day. But then I remembered that I'm going to Jamaica for like 8 days, have cadets that kill Mondays, that Thursdays are the worst creation known to man, and that I'd have to give up Team Fortress 2 for at least a good 39 days. So I decided not to.
Can't wait to see the movie; this one and The Hobbit are my big two for the year, no questions asked. Actually, I should dedicate an entry to The Hobbit. Expect one tomorrow or the next day. But onto The Hunger Games! I entered a scholastic contest where we had to send in the first five pages of a story that takes place in the future. The grand prize is an all expenses paid trip to the premiere of The Hunger Games film, and a box set of the books (which I am lacking in). So I'm hoping I win,
I going down to Jamaica on a mission trip during the March Break, so I had to get some shots today. I managed to get out of two or three (thank goodness), but I still had to get Typhoid, Hep. A part 1, and the standard flu shot. Hep A and flu(I think) in the left, Typhoid(?) in the right. Suffice it to say that my left arm is perfectly fine while my right arm is in typical pain. Why can things not be reversed...
Since we have only a little over a week left in February, I'm now looking for suggestions. Preferably my new name will have something to do with the Pyro from Team Fortress 2. Of course, I can always fall back on good ol' ibrow.
It's happening. June 2013 or 2014, sources don't seem to agree. Sounds like they're getting rid of most (or all) of the human cast too; that, combined with how they killed all the Decepticons off at the end of Dark of the Moon tells me we might be getting some prequels set on Cybertron.
