LEGO Shop G2 Wave 1 sale

For those interested, it seems both in the UK and the US versions of the LEGO shop, the wave 1 sets are on sale, around 25% off for the smaller Toa and Protectos and around 30% off for the larger Toa. Tahu (Master) appears to be out of stock in the US, however.   Also, here in the UK, the cheaper prices for this wave's smaller Toa and creatures have stuck. Which is nice.

LEGO Reveals Flavoured Constraction Sets

Did everyone else see the announcement LEGO just made? From the second half of 2015 onwards, all constraction sets are to be edible. Colour will correlate to flavour, so we'll end up with cherry-flavoured Tahu sets, Blueberry-flavoured Gali sets, Chocolate flavoured Pohatu sets, et cetera.   A bold move, indeed. LEGO Movies and Animations

You know how some people complain about the G2 animations?   Thank goodness we didn't get mostly terrible 75-minute CGI movies. That would have been even worse. We'd either get totally robotic characters that resemble the sets a little too much or biomechanical characters that only vaguely resemble the sets, small insects somehow forming giant Wave One Red Coloured Sets, cringe-worthy lines, eyes magically changing colour to indicate alignment, and characters with more rocks in their head than a

LEGO Dimensions

I'm not the only one who cringes when they hear or see LEGO Dimensions, right?   It all seems really, really awkward. You've got this kids' building toy and then you have some really, really weird and absolutely bizarre choices in terms of licensed IPs, several of which don't even have their own themes yet/ever, and some of which are arguably a bit on the inappropriate side (like the Simpsons). It's That Day People Celebrate

It Almost Happened Again

Issues Resolved

After a week of of a fairly unstable and unreliable connection, I finally have a stable connection to the internet again. Irritating

The amount of PC games requiring a controller of some sorts, either straight up requiring one or requiring one to be played effectively.   At this point, I'd rather you either not port it if you're not going to bother even attempting to make it playable for those of us with mouse + keyboards or if you're developing for PC originally, why are you even doing this in the first place? Go and develop it for a console.

Incoherent Rambling

What if The LEGO Movie sets were so successful we get a The LEGO Movie Movie? We would then get The LEGO Movie Movie sets.   Why were Mata Nui and Makuta the main protagonist and main antagonist of 2010 respectively, yet neither got a set that year?   We totally should have seen more 'special' canister sets in the later years, like the Hagah.   I constantly imagine the early Toa Mata having their gear functions turned to the beat of some random music that only exists in my head.   I found two
