So, I met my Pokemon fan friends again today, and played the Trading Card Game with my deck for the first time. Every match I played today I lost, probably because I have no Pokemon EX and (at least now) only one legendary. My deck has been revised and changed a bit, but it still loses. All it needs to truly be complete now (since my friends are so generous) are a Raichu with Pain-full Punch, a Pokemon Catcher and an Espeon Prime. WILL THEY MAKE IT HERE IN TIME FOR THE TOURNAMENT???
I finally got my Commander Keen 5 level editor working so I can create my own custom maps! So far all I've done is change the original so nearly all enemies are replaced with Shikadi and Shikadi Mines, and I added a Shikadi Master to every level.
Next week, my disabled brother will be at respite for a week, and my parents will be going on holidays for the same time, leaving me free to do more of what I want. I do still have TAFE, but I'll be free to go on an outing on my own. My plan is to go to a place called Stony Point, just like I had with my parents about a decade ago. My reasons for going on this trip, I want to keep to myself, because it's a little embarrassing to discuss. nh
So, last night on Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, I was finally able to pull off a Twilight Of The Gods win without Jaina's base falling! In fact, until Archimonde came, all that fell were the Guard and Cannon Towers, a farm and a Scout Tower! Even then, Archimonde only took down the other Scout Tower and another farm. No-one actually died! Dryads ftw!

Anyway, I completed the main story of Pokemon White, but I won't focus on hunting the sages until I need the TMs they give me. Instead, I'm gonna focus on getting the Power Items, and then EV training my Pokemon and teaching them their moves. I hatched a Jolly Axew just minutes ago, so I'm pretty much done breeding.
I'm getting tempted to take a train trip east somewhere, again to experience diesel travel. Not sure where to at this stage, but that's not the point. The point is just the train trip itself, because life is not always about the destination.

Somehow, though, it didn't work! Then a message I found by chance online told me of another program called Boxer, which I could use to play DOS games on my Mac. As always, we went inside and started playing Pokemon together, and tried out some of the games they had on display at the Nintendo Experience upstairs. A couple of weeks ago, the instructor for our second of two classes I have on a Thursday said he'd be away, so we'd have the class off (a popular rumor suggests that he's off to a Starcraft tournament, because he's a Starcraft fan). Last night I went to an information session at TAFE, at the campus I'll be doing my next course. I was the only student who attended! :/ I guess that's what happens when you only get 6 hours notice... The session went anyway, revealing that my course is now a dual award: Cert IV in Digital Interactive Games, and Cert IV in Digital Media Technologies! This means I can get 2 qualifications at the same price if I want to. Plus, the dual award course has a lot in common with the Websites course
So, today I explored the train lines to the east of Melbourne. Since there were a lot of stops, I'll divide this entry into paragraphs for each trip. So I attended the Pokemon TCG State Championships yesterday. It turns out the format was a ladder, not an Elimination like the VGCs, so I was unable to visit my nan at all. It gets worse. I lost EVERY match I was in. My only true achievement was the fact that I was able to knock out a Mewtwo EX, the most powerful, versatile and BROKEN card available! Nearly 2 years ago now, I said that I had heard what sounded like the horn of a steam train after I arrived at the train station near my home following a trip to Sandringham. I now know what that sound was, and yes it was a steam train! On December 4 2011, a steam tour went from the city to the end of the train line I live on!
