New Project: Minifig Chocolates

My newest project right now is to make LEGO minifigures out of chocolate. I shall accomplish this, hopefully, within the next few days.   Wish me luck.   Oh, and, GET OFF MY LAWN! ~Tekulo <3

Thinking of how to spend Sunday...

So, one thing about me is that I really don't like sports. It's not that I hate them or anything, it's just that I get bored watching them. Really really bored.   I have since my dad took me and my brothers to baseball games when I was a kid. All I really found interesting were the mascots, and that wasn't even that big a part of the game. To me, the fans were far more annoying than the sport (unless they were doing the wave). I'm talking about the fans that go out and trash the place after

Turnabout Storm...

The following blog entry contains a slight spoiler for the fourth edition of the My Little Pony/Phoenix Wright crossover video.     TO BE CONTINUED?! WHAT IS THIS?! GAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!   Thank you. That is all.   GET OFF MY LAWN!   ~Tekulo <3

Some Quick Thoughts on Fairy Tales

I am a huge fan of the original stories by Hans Christian Andersen and The Brothers Grimm. I could fill this blog up about aspects of their lives and why the stories are the way they are and how that actually translates to the writers' outlooks on life and how you make the connection between fantasy and reality and how those stories always felt like a special link between the two and all of that, but without the form of a run-on sentence.   Instead, I'll save that entry for a later date, becaus

You know that feel you get when....

You know how you're really sleep deprived from the night before and how the next day you feel spacey and it kinda feels like your mind and body are separate?   I get the same feeling whenever I go to a movie theater.   Yeah, I don't get it either...   GET OFF MY LAWN!   ~Tekulo <3

Rock and Roll and iPhones

Went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today with the family. Good times were had as I got to listen to some Elton John songs that I didn't know existed (So. Many. SONGS!) and I also learned about older musicians that influenced Rock and Roll as we know it today. One of whom is Dinah Washington who sang at churches and clubs who was discovered by a Jazz music agent. Her music has a really nice sound.   I also learned more about Les Paul and learned a bit about differences in analog and digi

2013 Here I come!

Okay, so I've been having a really good feeling about the next year lately and I had no idea why.   Then I realized it was 2013. 13 has been my favorite number for quite some time.   Friday the 13th has always been my favorite day ever. Every time that magical date appears, I always, without fail, have a good day. Nothing spectacular happens, but I guess it just brightens up my outlook on things. ^^   Anyway, here's to a new year filled with wonderment and other fancy words!   Heck, you're

Tekulo is in his Happy Zone

For whatever reason, I am in my super-happy place.   I'm not sure why, though. That is, it's not that I don't have any reason to be happy, nor does it mean I have a reason to be unhappy. I'm just feeling wonderfully chipper. ^^   So, for those of you that actually care, the passing of my holidays went like this:   Akano and KK are home tormenting me at every turn (I know you two will read this eventually, so I shall mention this now: you are both my favorite and only siblings of all time. OTC

WAAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!   I was really hoping for this. COT has been far too cluttered for too long.   I know a fair portion of members thought it would be an empty forum that nobody would visit, but I for one will do my part to post new topics and to review and critique what other members put down (aside from RPGs because I'm not too interested in joining one at the moment).   Also, did I mention awesome? I think I mentioned awesome.   I'm in the middle of something, Billy! GET OFF MY LAWN!

Ending

Did the world always seem this… grey? Wasn’t there a time where everything was filled with brighter colors? Yes, there was something… music, that’s what it was. It always sounded so pretty. I think it came from a box of sorts. I know that sounds a bit silly, music coming from a box. But yes, I’m certain that’s what it was. There were also other things as well… We called them… laughter... bliss… hope… rapture… sorrow… pain… deceit… lies… Yes, those were the colors that had filled the wor

Under

The house was abandoned. While it was abandoned, that certainly didn’t mean it was lifeless. No, the cobwebs, droppings and moths scattered in the dust made that clear. There wasn’t any natural light in the home. The curtains on the windows had been drawn for, one could assume was, eternity. In this main room furniture was knocked around and broken. Portraits of the previous owners had been knocked down, torn and faded. None of their faces seemed to hold a smile.   It see

I don't care...

I don't care what you think. I don't care what your opinions of the world are. I don't care that you tell me what I can and can't do. I don't care that you think ill of me. I don't care that you think I think ill of you.   Because you're breathing, You're alive, You're human.   And that's enough reason for me to love the ###### out of you.   NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!   ~Tekulo <3

Tides

The ship was often mentioned in lore. She was built under a full moon on an island that doesn’t exist. That is, the island is thought to be a myth. None have ever found any trace of its existence. Her name had been lost in an ancient tongue, eventually forgotten. It was said she was beautiful, though; beautiful blue sails that would glow in the light of shimmering stars, wood that had been smoothed and polished so well that it could be seen at night. Some say it ferried souls to the afterl

The Tower (Ambage Short Story)

The tower was always viewed as the greatest of tests. Many had entered, hoping to return a hero. They never saw the light of day again. Many said that after one reaches the very top, they would be granted a vast amount of treasure. Others claimed there was a beautiful maiden that beasts had imprisoned, jealous of her beauty. None had ever reached the top and lived. That was the story, and this the beginning.   It all seemed so ordinary; that was what threw me off. Regular sized doors, a f

My Little Pony Fanart

I love Colors! 3D. I really do. ^^   Anyway, I was doodling a bit (just some shading practice on a sphere) when I got bored and made that sparkly background. Then it reminded me of Pinkie Pie.   This is the first pony I've ever really drawn... I was never meant to draw ponies. D=   GET OFF MY LAWN ART!   ~Tekulo <3

My Dream Last Night

It was kinda like Red vs Blue meets Princess Tutu meets Kim Possible meets a Halo team match.   So, previously I've had recurring dreams about a Halo map where there's this really big circle space and in a cliff area there's this really high-tech alien base. So many Elites... so impossible to defeat them... Anyway, the open area is like a large crater covered in grass and surrounded by mountains. There are around four or five entrances into the base; three of which are obvious being located

WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!

That's right; my post count and profile view count are only one number off from each other.   I feel like this is a record. Not only is my post count pathetic, but it's equally as bad as my profile views. That's what I call nine years of consistency. ^^   GET OFF MY LAWN!   ~Tekulo <3

Doomsday Entry #1

The battle thus far has been overwhelming. Several casualties have occurred including my beloved soldier, Frank. He was the finest lawn gnome I ever had the pleasure of buying for $5 at a garage sale. -sniff-   I've managed to bunker myself down in a safe house which consists of a number of cardboard boxes in my room that I've duct-taped together out of sheer brilliance. My bedroom is the only area where the terrain is hazardous enough to fend off the invader. Unfortunately, my laptop is lo

MAN THE STATIONS!

My brother Kopaka Kurahk will be visiting... He'll be here tomorrow...   And worse.   He has backup... After about three days of weakening my defenses, Akano: Toa of Electricity will arrive to finish the job...   I... I don't have much time... D'=   It's been so wonderful knowing all of you... The Point

And it's colorful TieDye too-oh wait... I'm out of tags... XD   *Ahem*   So anyway, I do like gothic scenery and generally I'm irreverent regarding dark subjects in stories (Like Matoro dying. I still can't think about that to this day without cracking up. XD). The key phrase there is "in stories." I know it's not real, so I laugh because I find it funny. However, I've cried before over the loss of pets in the past, and losing a close friend in real life (actually, I'd rather not talk abo
