🦋April Escapades 🦋

Almost unbelievable that April arrived and vanished once more!  My April accounts, as they came about: Happy April! I like the idea of today being the true “new year”. My hope of “my body catching up to my brain” in terms of creativity is coming to pass, I feel. 4-5months on intense alternative therapies + recent increase in thyroid med + ditching a diuretic = a cherished bit of creative energy & plans to refine my artworks. March Makes!

So happy to be in March! 💐Little Mush Oogoo figurine I sculpted for my cake topper. I being out of Oogoo practice, mixed it too dry so had some cracks. Nov '25: Time flies! To surgery, a B-day Bash & Grove Gingerbreads!

November neared fast in 2025! A month of thanksgiving and tears. ❤️‍🩹 Written at the time:  (It was negative for autoimmune hepatitis, so the mystery continued...)   "Tiggy" #randomcatsofkindness #artgift. Finished just prior to my diagnostic laparoscopy that failed to located the recurring small bowel intussuseption, just as I feared given transient nature. 3 scars, 0 answers. I knew it wouldn't find it. Sent this prior to getting 🔪, but alas my fears were validated

'24 1/2: December Dawns, Antiqued Arts, Pantry Present!

A look back on December 2024. But first, a bitty update. So my endocrinologist labs keep rolling through, and to my horror, my chromogranin A has risen about ~23% in a mere 3 months. Now it's officially in the yellow zone. This is like the 5-7th positive NET tumor test of late. I'm very upset that the alternative therapies haven't lowered my numbers, but perhaps this is a good thing. Maybe they can find the tumor(s?) soon, maybe I won't be doomed to suffer and starve myself with carcinoid+ Cushi

September Celebrations and Storms

A September to remember! 2024. Sweet and sour, special and scary, fun and frightening, a month ended with Hurricane Helene. So grateful we got two weeks warning.  A very backlog blog but a bit of a present day update. Saw endocrine again today, first time since the multiple carcinoid & Cushing's' disease labs came back positive.  So he was VERY concerned over my x2 over the ref range urine cortisol. He said typically he doesn't see any elevations in that in his confirmed Cushing's patie
