While I'm not too pleased with the idea of a flush of Star Wars movies(my poor wallet), this one does look interesting. I hope it can provide more light on the origins of the Rebellion in movie versus the books and comics. Also, running at AT-ATs? Do you want to die? Obviously.
Early December. Know what that means, right? That means the selection of 24 participants is going to be announced soon for a Civic Leadership school in Washington D.C. Yours truly, Atlas, is one the many that entered and submitted an essay(for a topic that will not be discussed here.). I am on the edge of my seat. Wish me luck.
It's not worth it. I've worked in both retail and the food business. Don't go Black Friday shopping at midnight. Or at 3AM. Wait until like 7AM like a reasonable person. They'll still have TV's before Christmas. Those waffle toasters you're jazzed about? Still there. The latest iBox game? Boy, lemme tell you something about the way they will have it. Enjoy family. I'm going to be gone for two weeks, as I am going to OshKosh WI to volunteer at the EAA airshow. If there's anything anybody needs of me before I leave, message me and I'll try and get it down. At 3AM tomorrow morning, the bus pulls out and I am gone!

So read the storyline for Bionicle, 2001-2004(?)....this is what I got from it. Makuta is jealous of Mata Nui and slips him some sleeping pills, and the island of Mata Nui is supposedly made cold and crops don't grow(wheat? Corn? They don't say.). Anyways, the Turaga, the old ones, get Takua to summon the Toa Mata from the heavens to show up and kick Makuta butt. Turns out falling from the heavens makes you forget everything, even your name. They recover, they kinda beat Makuta, and then
Gotta get things done again, even if it's some stupid little story in the Library. This place was a great stress release for me, and I need it again definitely. Went from one job to another to another in the span of three weeks, and just facing that grand ole uncertainty about the future. What's next for this here site? Another story? The BZPRPG? I don't know. Maybe both, just overwhelm myself again. Seems like a great idea to me.
I have a heart that aches for people that are hurting, that are in need, that need just a bit of help. I have a hard time saying no, because I never want to say no. I don't like denying people help. It just rubs me the wrong way. But as a result, I can end up getting myself wrapping up in events that I have no clue where they started or where they will end. But that's who I am. It's what I am. I help people. And sometimes I find myself suffering for it.
..is a great name for a dog. Horrible condition for a blog however. Not saying I'm writing some Bionicle-ish stuff(and totally not saying I found some random books of Bionicle for like, $3 books for a box full at a garage sale), and I'm not saying I may be more active. I'm just saying Dusty is a great name for a dog.
Yeah, beating a dead horse but I'm still not over what FO:4 should have been. Could have been. Graphics were great, I loved the settlement building(but I think they should have cut down on the amount of settlement locations...), the Gunplay was great, but other then that....it kinda sucked. Period. Ah, oh well. Can't have a good thing all the time.
Couple days late, but whatever. Picked up some DLC for Europa Universalis IV(some unit packs, and the Art of War expansion). And a war hammer. Legitimate, 100% steel and hickory war hammer from Cold Steel. Yeah. It was a good day. Plus, I had the day off!
Saw three films recently, Arrival, Logan, and LEGO Batman. Gotta say, all three really blew my expectations out of the park and were fantastic films. Arrival was one of the best Sci-Fi films I have seen in a long time. You know why? It has a lot less to do with "DIE ALIEN SCUM" and more with actually just communication. It was fascinating and I loved it so much. The big reveal at the end and how it all played out just made it perfect. Definitely recommend seeing it. Logan was very good
Ah, well, I went and did it, I became a Premier Member of BZPower. Why? Well, honestly it wasn't because of Bionicle. I had no idea what Bionicle was in fact when I first joined here over a month ago. No clue at all. I was told to come here for the BZPRPG, actually. That it was a better RPG to get into; active, semi-friendly, and somewhat competent moderators. Now I can vouch for the first one, but I haven't been around long enough to actually say anything on the last two promises made to me.
