OK, so I'm working on updating the text for BIONICLEstory.com (for release in July), and I've run across a question which I think my BZP compadres will be able to answer.
I need to include Agori villagers in the Heroes, Villains & More section. But I don't think it's substantially a different category from Matoran. Question: Should the "Matoran" section be changed to "Villagers" to include Agori? Or is it worth a new category?

I know how you BIONI-junkies crave eye candy, so here are a couple of things to tide you over until next week.
First some good news: I've received nearly all the assets I've been waiting for to get the web site complete. We're now at 98% complete, with one exception. The bad news: that exception is the game, which looks to be a week or two late. So the site will launch without a new game until later in July. But that's not a huge deal, I think. There's enough to keep you busy for a while.
Over the last few days and weeks, LEGO and its partners have announced several new products and licensing deals. I just received the first beta of the updated Glatorian Arena v2 game, which will come out (hopefully) in August. It follows the same structure... talk with Agori, battle Glatorians... but it's been improved quite a bit. There are new characters (duh), a new location, and some new moves that make the combat more interesting. It took me a few minutes to get used to it, but I think it's an improvement on the first version. The backflip is a nice touch.

I just saw the TV ad for 2010, and it looks awesome. But the first thing that struck me was that it's not even close to canon.
So, to defuse some of the comments I know we'll see, I thought I'd post something here.
The purposes of a TV ad (in order of importance) are to:
A. Inform the viewer there are new BIONICLE products available
B. Inform the viewer of the product features and benefits of purchasing the product
C. Create desire to purchase or own the product

I was in the middle of replying to an email from Mikkel Maltha when "Face Me' came on the ol' iPod.
That's it. The whole coincidence. Well, I thought it was funny.
Every time I say "We're shooting for X date for game release," when it's missed I get a bunch of angry PMs and see some demanding posts. So I'm going to stop saying when it will show up. I don't have ANY control over when it will be released, and I'm frankly tired of taking the heat, so I refuse to speculate.

We've got two games left for the first half of the year's Battle for Power campaign, and they'll be launched simultaneously next Monday. Once you see them, you'll understand why they're being released at the same time.

All the cans for Gresh had a misprint, they included Malum's code rather than Gresh's. You won't be able to do anything with the codes until sometime in January.

OK, so now that it's September, I should probably let you know that the Glatorian Arena 2 game has been slightly delayed. You know me - always timely in my updates.
