All That Is Yours Is Rightfully Mine.

If you can't tell, I just played Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and The Two Thrones this past week and am now in a big Prince of Persia mood. Still think WW is the best, but the Dark Prince has to be my all-time favorite character. He's smart, but is also absolutely hilarious. For example, if you stand still for a while without pausing, he yells at you. I got a couple humorous comments out of him from doing that. "MOOOOVE!" "STOP WASTING TIME!" "Nraaagh! I can't believe I actually believed in

Bye Guys

Well, tomorrow morning I head off on a near three-hour drive to college. So, I'm posting this to let you all know that I dunno when I'll have time to come on here again with all the madness that'll be going on (though, from the look of it, once I'm settled into the room I shouldn't have too much a problem hopping on here). Once classes start Monday, though... well, that's anyone's guess, really.   Sorry I didn't get the new epic at least started on BZP, I had every intention to at some point th

Cruel And Unusual Punishment

As I sit here on the computer, several (five, to be exact) Christmas presents adressed to me are sitting on the floor about a foot away from me.   *shakes fist*

Makuta Icarax

Time for those pictures I promised! Before I get started, I just have to say that Icarax looks intimidating in just about every single pose you can think of. WARNING: Big pics.   Now then, here's the front of the warrior. All those blades and suff add to his combat-oriented personality in a big way.   And here's the back, showing the wing placement. As you can see, the wings are extremely posable, with the lower wings being able to move on their own, plus all four with full-range motion due to

Hspa Math

Amazingly, the Math part of the HSPAs were way easier than I thought, and immensely easier than the Science part. Yayzeez!   Thankees for the offer, LK, but I'll manage. I was just a little moody yesterday. Sorry.   Ah, the high-quality pics of the 2007 summer sets. It's funny -- everyone now loves the Mahri and hates Maxilos, and I despise the Mahri and love Maxilos.   But the Mahri. It's just like Umbra: everyone hates the original picture, then LEGO shifts its pose and it's the best set e

Eh... Schedule...

Well, much to my dismay, my class schedule for Senior year of high school arrived in the mail today. For those who care:   1 -- American Government & Comparative Politics 2 -- Survival Skills for Independant Living (probably the most useful class ever) 3 -- Lunch (I have lunch at 9:15 in the morning!!!) 4 -- Word Processing 5, First Semester -- Journalism 1 5, Second Semester -- Creative Writing (oh yeah) 6 -- Sociology & Contemporary Issues 7 -- English 8 -- Gym 8 (second quar

Dark Rivalry Is Born

Go on ahead and check out chapter 5 of ED in Epics!   Someone e-mailed me two tracks from the Pirates 3 soundtrack to convince me to buy it: "Up is Down" and "I Don't Think Now is the Best Time".   I'm convinced -- MUST go buy that CD!

Shadows In The Sky

Yes. I got it. I read it. It is INTENSE. Very different feel from the past eight Legends books, due to the fact that we no longer have novice Toa fighting against lesser villains -- we have the legendary veteran heroes, the Toa Nuva, in an all-out (and I mean all-out) brawl with the Brotherhood of Makuta. It's great to have the old Toa back, and plotwise, they're as awesome as ever. Pohatu still has his wit, Lewa his blunt humor and Kopaka his awesome Kopaka-ness.   What's really great is that

Saw V

Hello there! I'm once again back at home for the weekend (I desperately needed some stuff) so I actually have time to blog! College is definitely a whole lot of work, but I only have a month or so left before the semester ends. Stressful, though.   While I'm here, I'm going to make some kind of attempt to progress on Demon's Tears. Whether it'll be Chapter 2 on here or writing new plot further along, I haven't decided yet. It won't be tonight, I'm wiped, but I'll try tomorrow before I have to h

Toa Mahri

Saw the pictures of the Mahri from ToyFair on Brickshelf.   I REALLY hope those are extreme prototypes. They have a LOT to work on.

Cras

Just thought I'd impress ToM Dracone with a little Latin.   I dunno if it's right, but I'm hoping it means "tomorrow", because tomorrow is the day my brother, my mom and I go see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia! WOO!   On a completely different note, is anyone else excited for the movie "300"? You know, the one based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller, with the Spartans and the Persians? I must see it. It looks positively AMAZING.   Well, that's a

Favor From Warhammer 40k Fans

Hey there! I need a favor from people who are into Warhammer 40,000. I've been reading some the of novels for a few years now, and I absolutely love the entire thing. However, I know that there's a series of books detailing the infamous Horus Heresy (conveniently called the Horus Heresy series), starting with the book Horus Rising. I do not know the titles off all of the novels, though.   So, basically, if someone could provide a list of titles of all the Horus Heresy novels that are out there

Dark Fire

For whatever reason, I watched Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame the other day for the first time since seeing it in theaters. One particular scene, where Frollo is singing in front of his fireplace, just completely went over my head in theaters when I was six years old. Now, at age seventeen, I understand the meaning of the song and why my mother was a little iffy when she first heard the lyrics.   Nonetheless, it was a VERY powerful scene -- probably one of, if not THE most powerful in any

Bone Hunters

So I was watching some of The Legend Reborn today and I never realized how hilarious Bone Hunters are in that movie. When I see them, all I can think of are Covenant Grunts from Halo; they're short, have a hysterical yet moot ambition to kill the heroes, and are essentially canon fodder. I came to this realization when I saw Ackar, in the Battle of Roxtus, completely disregard his shield and sword and kick a Bone Hunter in the face.   Let's hear it for the cute, murderous, hilarious little guys

I'm Quite Upset

Microsoft is actually destroying creativity now.   As I'm sure many of you know, people have the ability to create movies with video games if they wish, called machinima, which has been particularly prominent with Halo and Halo 2. Well, now it looks like the only movies you can make are of people standing around. Someone who runs a Halo 2 machinima site put it best (it's got forums):     Now, the problem is that the said site that had written this article is a site that I have been a member

Site Update! Omg!

Yeah, it's been a while since I gave you guys any updates on the story. Never fear, it IS being written. But, to keep you guys busy, head on over to the epic site and check out the new author page for utterly useless info on me (unless you're a stalker... but please don't be).   Oh, and I have seen the leaked piccies. I don't wanna say much, but I have to say this: The red Toa Mahri (fire, I'm assuming) has an amazingly cool mask design.

I Got Me A Geetar!

Yes! Me, my uncle and my mom all went up to Guitar Center and got my electric guitar! I got a black Squire by Fender. It's SOOOO awesome. Unfortunately I can't actually have it till Christmas, so my uncle's holding on to it. But I did get my first guitar lesson (albeit a ten minute one). He said I picked it up real fast. He's actually teaching me how to play along with other songs before teaching me how to read the music; he believes that I learn much faster that way.   Yeah, so that was the ex

Need Opinions

Kay, so for my Word Processing class, our final project is a PowerPoint presentation on whatever we want. It has to be at least twenty slides, it needs clip art, scanned pictures, pictures from the internent, yanno, stuff like that. Problem is, I have no idea what to do it on. The teacher suggested we do friends and family, but I'm not a people person and have few non-family friends by choice, so I'll be lucky if I can get seven slides out of that.   Any ideas would be appreciative.

Heart Of A Dragon

First, if ya dunno, that's Tarja (pronounced "TAR-yah") Turunen in my picture, who is the lead singer of Nightwish. Been gettin' back into them, all right.   Anyway, for the first time in many, many years (8-10, at least) I watched Dragonheart. My GOD that movie is amazing. I first watched it when I was like five or six and was hooked. Such a great movie, highly recommend it. It's got Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery as the voice of Draco, the dragon. And that one guy who's name I can never remem
