My opinions on the 08 sets.
"Toa Nuva":
First off, other than the mask and color scheme, "Kopaka" looks nothing like himself. I'm not even gonna get him for the parts.
I don't hate "Lewa" as much as I hate "Kopaka", but he's not all that good. I think I'll get him, and not even build him, since he has some nice parts, like the new sword. I like the mask, but not on "Lewa".
I detest "Pohatu's color scheme. It doesn't work for a Toa of Stone. The mask is good, but looks too much like t
... of my likes and dislikes about Bionicle.
2001: Like. Best year for MOCing parts.
2002: Like. Best storyline. Also good parts.
2003: Like. Rahkshi=win.
2004: Dislike. Clone sets, not enough mystery.
2005: Like. Good storyline, best movie.
2006: Dislike. Lame villains.
2007: Like. Barraki are cool. Mahri, although wierd-looking have good parts.

I just got a ridiculously large amount of parts from one of the Vancouver Lego Club members. And by that I mean a copy paper box nearly full of parts.
