Tonight, I bring fellow RPers together to bring an announcement, from deep within the halls of the RPG Masters' Guild. I'd like to introduce you all to the newest member of our team: The Captain.
I have to say, that this man is the best roleplayer I've ever witnessed on this site. As well, since his arrival on the RPG Forum scene, he's been by far my personal biggest RPing influence. Aside from personal things, there is other evidence of this greats' roleplaying heavy-hits: he has 6 RPG Conte
Weather's bad today. -25C in the middle of March. Ready for the snow to go away.
Easily aced English essay today. Done with short fiction unit. Have to study for English exam tomorrow. Don't want to, though.
Nearing graduation; no ideas what I want to do. Many possibilities.
Working on a new short story trilogy. First is ironic, pessimistic interpretive fiction. No war. Second, vigilante. Third, unknown. All will tie.
Working on lyrics. Will post when done.
“And so it shall be, in the wake of insurgence, the first Seal shall be broken, and the onset of Armageddon shalt be upon you all.” - Divinations, Chapter XII, verse VI
PM me, so ye shalt be saved!
Yes, yes. It's been a while. But dun shoot me. I've been busy. Let's see what I have(n't) accomplished since I last blogged:
-I managed to skin my foot, damage my ankle, cut an artery twice, and nearly concuss myself.
-I got 100% on a description of the Somalia conflict by writing out the Black Hawk Down script in point form.
-I collaborated on a new RPG, that could even be up in the RPG Contest 12 Submissions topic by tomorrow.
-I learned to play a few songs on my guitar.
-And, I survive
Stand on the abyss, the blackening clouds obsuring the view
Of a million sorrow-drenched faces, their illusions construed
The hollowed worn hands of society, clawing at mind’s outer wall
Through gritted teeth, echoed howls engulfing the skull
The simplest design brought not to fruition in the sea of pain
Oh, when will it end?
Rapture is in plain sight
There past your empty lies
There beyond the twisted truths
Presented to you in plain view
Look beyond the empty lies
Look through t
Hello, readers. You may be wondering what 'Ask the Overseer' is. Simply put, it's a version of a mailbag; you send me your questions, I'll answer them!
Thank you for your question, EW. I had to do a bit of research on this one, but, here's your answer: I began RPing on BZPower in early 2004, in a CoT RPG known as 'The Empire Returns: A Star Wars RPG'.
Ah, yet again, an intelligent question. At first, I wasn't overly familiar with the subject, but what I concluded from a bit of researc
Don't turn away
I pray you've heard
The words I've spoken
Dare to believe
Over one last time
Then I'll let the
Darkness cover me
Deny everything
Slowly walk away
To breathe again
On my own
Carry me away
I need your strength
To get me through this
Dare to believe
Over one last time
Then I'll let the
Darkness cover me
Deny everything
Slowly walk away
To breathe again
On my own
Name it, and I'll upgrade you to a grape drink.
So, I totally catastrophically wounded my foot yesterday.
Convinced it wasn't too bad, I went to a walk-in clinic, and the doctor was all 'OMGWTF!? GO GET X-RAYS! UR FOOTS BROKEDED!'. So, form in hand, I go to the hospital, and get all radiated. The radiologist is convinced it isn't broken, and that I'm fine. And yet, my foot is still massively swollen, in copious amounts of pain, and thoroughly bruised.
But apparently I'm fine.
'Eye of the Animal'
The sound of artillery fills the sky
A flood of nightmares consume my mind
The smell of death, I don't know why
We're still here
Screams and confusion engulf the field
As blood and gore begin to spill
Our only hope, the strength of our will
We must win
When it comes down to you and him
Do you have what it takes to kill?
When another's life lies in your hands
Become the victim to war's demands
The blood will dry
More will die
Don't let their sacrifice go
Good afternoon, Vault Dwellers.
It is currently 13.30h at The Vault, apparently the power-hour of brainstorming activity. Outside the security door, the sun is peeping through a blanket of thick, gray clouds, and the air is mighty warm.
But, petty weather is not why I'm broadcasting this message. 'cause, heck, weather doesn't even affect us in the oh-so-glorious Vault. The true reason I'm sending this message, is to inform all you wonderful Vault citizens of some updates.
First off, the
Well, stuff hit the fan today.
I'm done, all this stuff is ridiculous. Seriously, what have I done that's so abhorrent that I'm granted nothing in this pathetic excuse of a life? I've absolutely had it.
I'm scheduled to see a mental specialist next week.
I learned how to fall today, didn't think it would kill you
To settle the debt I thought never would be paid.
Found out I was wrong today (I was wrong)
Too weak to continue
One final defense to fall
Still unbroken
Now I
Alright, since I deploy to my summer posting on Saturday, I figure'd I'd give you guys an update now, in case I don't get the chance to further down the road.
For all who don't know, I've been selected from my squadron to instruct future military personnel for 7 weeks, teaching, among other things, leadership skills, instructional techniques, and survival skills. I'm being deployed to CFB (Canadian Forces base) Cold Lake, an Air Force base about 5 hours north of here. My leave date is Saturda
The night was eerie and harsh, with rather unusual weather for the season. A blanket of fog coated the bustling, bright bay. The wind whipped harshly, blasting scurrying Navymen with icy cold droplets of salty seawater. But still, they trudged on for reason even beyond them.
A flash far out at sea accompanied a large, ferocious explosion, rocking the port, sending men and debris flying. Long, drawn out siren wails could be heard from every which way, and the Navymen began to scramble. S
A double standard, according to the World Book Dictionary, is a standard applied more leniently to one group than to another. For example, a belief that it is permissible for teenage boys, but not teenage girls, to engage in dating is a double standard.
When judicial processes are applied more strictly to some people more than others, such double standards are seen as unjust because they violate a basic maxim of modern legal jurisprudence, that all parties should stand equal before the law. D
Hm... nothing really to write about, but I'm going to write anyways. Jesterland is rather boring this evening. I'm sitting here, just listening to my music. With that said, if you're bored as well, PM me or IM me on MSN or AIM to give yourself something to do.
But for now, here's some lyrics:
Disturbed
I'm Alive
Never again will I be dishonored
And never again will I be reminded
Of living within the world of the jaded
They kill inspiration
It's my obligation
To never again, allow
Thought it was time for a gaming entry.
But yeah, this game is spectacular. Any 360 owner should have it, 'specially if you have Live.
Oh, and speaking of Live, if you have this game, or other sweet ones you'd figure I'd have, add me up: CrimsonxJester. Just make sure to PM me letting me know, first.
