Wow. WOOW. It sure has been a while. Haven't been on the boards in months. I guess I stopped coming here after my interest in Bionicle waned. So. Hi! How's everyone doing? What have I missed?
Qwerty's secret to enjoying games:
DON'T FOLLOW THE HYPE! It's that simple! Everyone considered Fable and Fable 2 to be huge disappointments because they were following the hype! Peter Molyneux saying the game will do this and that, and when the game didn't live up to the astronomical hype, they got all angry! Obviously do your research on whether a game is actually good or not, but one of the reasons people are saying Fable 2 wasn't good is because of all the hype that surrounded it's releas
I gots me one of those new unibody MacBooks. I sold my older one, and with some money I had could afford a new computer. It's a 2GHz, 160 GB, 2 GB RAM, $1299 MacBook. It's so much more awesome. Great graphics chip (NVidia GeForce 9400M), and an overall wickedly awesome look. However, the screen is high-gloss. Much glossier than my other computer. This screen's a freaking mirror. It basically renders it useless in high-light locations. Tis still a great computer, though.
A nickel is 5 pennies
a quarter is 5 nickels
a quarter is 25 pennies, and a hundred dollar bill is 400 quarters.
This means a penny is 1/10000 of 100 dollars.

Well, we opened presents from relatives tonight. I open one up, and it was? A Nancy Drew book. Total "what the heck?" reaction. My mom suggested opening it, and stuck inside the cover was an iTunes gift card. I have to say, it was an ingenious idea on the part of my uncle. What did you get for christmas/whatever holiday you celebrate? Any funny stories like this? Do tell!
Everyone have a great holiday no matter what you celebrate, wether it be Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other winter holiday! Hope you all have fun, and a great winter break!
I think we've all experienced it: You say something intended to be sarcastic and funny, and the other person takes it the wrong way and attacks you, or no-one gets it. There is no efficient way to show sarcasm on the internet. That is what I plan to change, with your help! Post ideas to show sarcasm correctly on the internet, and put this in your signature to spread the word:

Not that's a bad thing. It just seems sometimes I'm completely invisible, both here on BZPower and in real life. Here, my topics hardly ever get any posts, and most of my posts seem to be completely passed over. In real life, teachers seem to never see my hand (probably because they know I know the answer, but it does get annoying). Also, I was completely passed over in Band for instrument solo selections. At my school, people's birthdays get announced over the loudspeakers, but mine didn't last
I'm not even important enough to have my old birthday topic closed after it was done. This is my birthday topic from 9 months ago that I just found digging through my old posts. 9 months.

Episode 2's been up a while. If you haven't, go check it out. Link's in the previous entry.
Sorry Episode 3's 3 weeks late, you can also read the full story of my computer troubles over on the site. I am just pointing this out, I was using my PC to do the videos.
I bought and downloaded Fallout 1 and 2 online. This one site (can't link) has lots of old classic games like that for $10 or under, DRM free, instant download. It's awesome.
Fallout 3's fun, but I'm stuck with no stimpaks, in the su
Ok, I swear that I already posted this entry. If it was removed by Blog staff, then I'm sorry that I posted it again, but could you at least tell me? If you didn't delete it, what happened?
Anyway, episode 1 of Anti-Establishment is up on my site. Watch it here:

I am working on episode 2 at the moment, it's all filmed, but I'm having some trouble with the audio. I might not get it up until later in the week.
Now, special edition games. I just
The machinima I started (trailer in last post) is about to release it's first episode. I have fixed the sound too, it's a lot easier to hear. Anyway, first 5 people to respond with a plot idea, and the person with the best idea as chosen by me, get a preview of episode 1, plus get to see each new episode two days in advance.
This contest runs till saturday when the episode is released at 12:30 central time. Ok? GO!
It's a serious one this time. The Classified Files was going nowhere fast, and my friend I made it with can't come over a lot, so don't expect many episodes of that. This one I'm hoping to get out on a weekly basis, with the first one on Saturday the 11th. I believe it's going to be called the Anti-Establishment, but I'm not sure, and I'm open to suggestions. There's a trailer below.

I use a mac. I am happy. I just try to keep to myself, and use the computer I want. However, anywhere you go, there is just such a hatred toward macs. I just try to leave well enough alone, and most other mac users do too, but the air of hostility from PC people is just too much. Especially when almost any argument against macs is at least 5 years dated. Macs have plenty of native games, and you can always run Boot Camp. Macs DO have right click. The new Apple mice are pressure sensitive, they c
Remember a year ago, when I got my hamster, Suzy? I had asked my parents about the possibility of it being a family pet, and my parents both said "No, if you want it, you'll have to get it with your own money, clean it's cage yourself" etc. etc. I was fine with that, and went and bought Suzy myself, got her cage herself, and have been the primary caregiver for the year or more I've had her. Now, my brother wants a gerbil. Same deal, right? He can get the gerbil himself, buy the cage and everythi
Today, I went to a botanical garden with my mom and brother. Most of it could be a scene from one of the Myst games. They had this kaleidoscope thing at the beginning that was really cool. It had two mounted brass kaleidoscope viewers, and a big rotatable pot with various out-of-the-ordinary plants planted there. You could turn the viewer, as well as rotate the pot to get some really cool effects. I really got to start carrying my camera around with me. Anyway, that's about it, I'm bored, I've b
School starts in a week and a half for me. September 3rd. I'm not going to count it all out, though. Going back to school will be great (I get away from my brother) but there's one problem. One cannot sleep until noon if school starts at 8:15. Meaning I have to wake up by 7. Meaning 5 hours of sleep if I continue my current bedtime. Ugh. What else is there to say? How about iPod Market Research? I present my findings:
Facts:
-iPhone is now $200.
-Apple will need to drop the prices of all
I think we all know that CompUSA is going out of business, right? Well, today is my local CompUSA's last day open. We went there to look for a discount carrying case for my MacBook, and it was almost all cleared out. They only had two computers left, one of which was broken, and the other was only discounted a little bit. There were barely any other games, and all books and magazines were $10.00. I liked that place. I'll miss them. So, goodbye, CompUSA.
The keyboard of my new MacBook is a joy to type on. It's almost silent, the keys don't stick up a lot, and they push in so easily. On my old keyboard, the keys were kind of sticky, and were extremely hard to push in, but this one is so EASY. I love my new Mac. Anyone know of a good carrying case, for not too much money?
