Not that I hate them or anything, they just don't interest me.
The following song of the moment is one of the lengthiest songs I know. Its lyrics are a part of my life, so it's another very personal song to me.
Some of you may know it already, since I've shared the mp3 of it a couple of years ago. It's a song about life, and somewhere in the middle of the song, there's a piano solo.
The solo starts out nice and calm, almost relaxing. Then, the texture of the melody starts to change. About 5-6 minutes into the solo, the melody is largely gone; All you
The following story is a real-life example of what I meant in this comment. I won't say any names, and some things may be slightly different, since the story dates from some time between 2005-2007.
It's about obsession.
There was a girl in China, I believe, who had a thing for an HK actor. She liked him a lot and she collected some of his merchandise. Everything went nicely for a while. She then started to become attracted to him, so she collected more things. And more things. And more.
Time for a regular entry.
I caught a cold, but that's okay. It's just that the cough is nasty. It woke me up at 7.30 am this morning. Then I fell asleep again until 2.30 pm. ...I went to bed at 4 am before.
The second period at school ended last Friday, so we had a week full of tests. Just about every theory test went really well, except for Optics. Ah well, I'll be redoing that in a few weeks.
I'm not worried.
Actually, aside from this cold, I'm feeling quite happeh. I guess my 'win
Today's song of the Moment is a song which is performed in Spanish and English by the Israeli duo Infected Mushroom.
It's a song that's guaranteed to mess with your mind, like I found out myself.
When I first listened to the song, it gave me two sleepless nights, with this song playing in my head over and over again. (Thanks a lot, dude. )
The song is called "Becoming Insane", which is very fitting.
Dime todo lo que paso
No me di cuenta ni quien me pego
Todo da vueltas como un carrus
Well, it seems my BBCC entry didn't make it through the prelims. Such a shame, but alas.. ç'est la vie.
Thank you, those three who voted for me. (One vote was my own.)
I guess 4 votes in total is a new record for my contest MOCs.
It has been confirmed that BoA's debut single "Eat You Up" won't be available in stores as a physical single.
What a bummer.
At least it's available on iTunes.
Time for the fourth Song of the Moment.
It's a golden oldie, which has inspired generations. From 1966, I bring you The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore by The Walker Brothers.
The lyrics are amazing.
Loneliness is a coat you wear
The dark shade of blue is always there
Emptiness is a place you're in
With nothing to lose and nothing to win
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without her
Lone
Hello, my name is Mario and this entry will be a long-overdue update of my life.
But where to start...
As you may know, I'm finally back in college, enjoying my photography classes. We also get lessons in video, but it's not my main interest. There's also Photoshop (CS3), optics, animation, Dutch, maths and English.
My favourite class is English, actually. Maybe because I'm top of the class, baby. Also, our teacher hails from the USA. Portland, Oregon, if I'm not mistaken. The teacher is
