It was very productive, and in a completely unexpected way: I started and finished one short story (seven pages handwritten) within two days after getting the idea, and I also got a very good start on another one whose idea I've had for a while. That second one I've been thinking about for literally years. It started out as a few paragraphs written for an exercise in a writing class two summers ago. Today was really quite weird, but in the same way it was one of the best school days I've ever had. I wound up with four free periods, which was just wonderful: we had Astronomy off, because the teacher was still sick and, though present, couldn't lecture us with his voice as it was; Katie wasn't here, so we had no Greek; then the AP Latin class had already decided we would have an "off day," since we just finished through book 9; and I have 9th free every day anyway.

I love snow, but I like spring and rain and slightly warmer (but still nice and cool) weather even more. It's still cold, barely over freezing, and was windy earlier, but at least the snow is melting and warmer weather and rain will be here soon... Not quite in time for my birthday tomorrow, but it's good enough as it is.
Of course, that's going to be plenty weird already, my birthday the day before Easter...

First, I'm not going to go on a tirade about how dreadful they are as the Nuva. I did that with the Phantoka, and these are even worse as Toa Nuva. Next to no points of recognizability (except on Onua). But I do have to say, again, that Tahu and Gali could work swell with dark red and dark blue if only they had Kanohi Nuva-like masks.

Or at least I think it was Mars. It may have been Saturn. Or Jupiter. I'm not an astronomer (or an astrologer), but I do know it was a planet. It was far too bright to be a star, hanging in the western sky in the dark... First time I've ever seen and recognized a planet with my naked eyes. I've seen Saturn through a telescope before (amazing sight), but I don't remember ever seeing a planet unaided.

Second, my AP scores arrived today. I got a 5 on all of them (that's the highest score, for all unfamiliar with the system). It made me quite elated.
Gummy bears reveal strange things under torture. Aeneas has mood swings. There are Nektann. Waking up at 3 AM and drinking three or four cups of coffee causes people to be alarmingly hyper for the rest of the day. Additionally, I am now in possession of Carapar and Hewkii Mahri. A thing I noticed some time ago, reenforced dramatically yesterday:
Take all the canister series we've had since yellow-orange replaced brown. Inika, Barraki, Mahri, Phantoka, Mistika, Glatoriana, Glatorian Legends. There is only one color of the six that I have bought out of every series: yellow (or whatever it was at the time).

Today, Algebra 2x was remararkably straightforward. Almost easy – there were no surprises, nothing obscure and insanely complicated, just stuff that we had gone over in review. Not even all the stuff on the review sheet was on
I like Icarax. Not a bad design, good overall look (rather like red armor over a black body, as I've said), but no reason I would buy him, as he has no recolored pieces at all...
