BBC 41! *screams loudly*
My life is sooooooo busy at the moment - my mum's ill, my sister's expecting another baby any day now, my niece will be coming to stay while the baby is born, my graphics coursework is due in tomorrow, I have to go to hospital for a blood test, I need to book an appointment for my re-immunisations, and I need to enter BBC 41!
*Takes a deep breath* Anyway, what will my entry be? I have a plan. What better way to make an entry that could be a set, than make an entry
Apart from Bionicle, my main interest in Lego is trains. Before everyone shouts 'boring', I must say I'm not interested in normal trains. Let me explain...
The stuff I'm interested in are the railways (or railroads, if you're American) created by English cartoonist, Rowland Emett. He's drawn hundreds of funny sketches, involving ridiculous trains that would never work in real life. Everything he drew had a comical, ancient look, as though it would fall apart at any second. I'll upload a coupl

I don't know what I clicked on, but I found this page. It seems fairly useful, so I thought I'd share it.
BTW, I know it's in an obvious location. Bio has pointed that out. But
1. I'm bored
2. I wanted to blog about something
So it fits nicely.
I expect you want to find out who won the first Lemon Club Challenge. Well, all of the entries were exceptionally good, all with their unique styles. Bundalings and I had a hard time choosing a winner. However, after a lot of consideration and poking stray llamas, we decided that the winner is...
Limona, Toa of Lemons by Aanchir: Rachira of Time.
The sheer amount of lemonness shown was lovely, and the idea of the lemonade stand was very creative. So, what are the prizes? Well, not only doe
Yes indeed. All the entries are being judged by Bundalings and me, so the results will be up soonish. Possibly. All the entries are unique and have their own styles, so it'll be hard to pick a winner. Well done everyone!

Entries for the Lemon Club Challenge will stop being accepted at 11:59am GMT. Today. In theory.
I've extended the deadline to 11:59PM GMT.
Just to let you know.
Just to let you all know, I'm not liking Aero so much now. I'll be changing it again as soon as I can.
Yes, I'm a perfectionist. Or at least stupid.

I think I've worked something out. I have a fear of dropping knives onto my feet.
I realised today, when I was loading stuff into our dishwasher. I picked up a large breadknife, and suddenly felt...well, terrified of dropping it. I kept getting a vision of me dropping it onto my foot, and slicing it open. Not particularly pleasant I know, but life's like that.
Yes, I'm scared of my mind too.

Today, I'm going to rant about the game series, Baten Kaitos. More specifically, I'm going to rant about how understated it is.
I found Baten Kaitos completely by accident. I was watching a DVD of game trailers that I got free with a magazine, and clicked the wrong link. I immediately found myself watching something that would change my life.
The trailer was outstanding. Full 3D, interesting plot, great characters, and the music was amazing. The story of Baten Kaitos revolves around island

I thought we might as well have a bit of lemon-based fun, having a Lemon Club and all. Your challenge is to...
Make a Toa of Lemons.
This can be a MOC, a drawing, a sculpture, a 3D rendered image, a Lemon carved into a Toa - anything you like. To enter, post a pic of your entry in the comments for this blog entry. There are no colour restrictions (though Lemons usually are yellow), no size limits. However you interpret it is fine.
Entries will stop being acce
I've now reached 2400 posts. Silly me - now I can't do anything special for it. I'll just have to do something special for 2500 instead.
Coincidentally, I'm today's number one poster, according to the top ten. :wakeup2:

After fiddling around with various hex codes, I've decided that silver doesn't work too well on BZP, because of the pale blue background. So now I'm using bold #243042, apparently.
It fits pretty well with the Rift, I think.

This is rather exciting story actually, so I'll start at the end, then go to the beginning, then finish with the middle, like all good modern storytellers.
My laptop has returned.
I was at school, typing an essay, when suddenly, my laptop turned off! I tried turning it back on, but nothing happened. So I plugged it in, thinking that the battery had just run out. Thankfully, it turned on, and worked perfectly. However, it said that there was no battery connected ! But it was!
Anyways
I didn't like Seran. It was a shorter version of Seranikai, a character from my novels. It sounded a bit like 'Sarah' to me. So I wanted a better name. Sleeker. Dynamic.

I may have fooled a couple of you into thinking that my favourite colour is blue. Or navy, to be precise. But it isn't. It's actually silver. So I'll be posting in that from now on.
I'm also contemplating a name change, so so don't hesitate to tell me if you have any good ideas.
I've done it.

I was looking through the hundreds of sheets of sketches and extracts from my novels, and found something quite interesting. Amidst my beloved Book of Silver, containing loads of ideas for my second novel, I found a passage I'd written that hadn't made it to the book, because I forgot it was there.
This would've been written three years ago. I was pretty surprised when I read it, so I thought I'd post it here. It is quite interesting, you see.

I didn't do anything special for my 2000th post, because I was saving it for the big 2222. And here you go. A Shadow Beast from Twilight Princess, in all its weird, tentacular splendor.

I'm off from school today, 'cos I've got a sore throat. So, I decided to make the most of things, and started planning some things for my epic., City of Dreams. Namely time travel.
The problem arises like this. In most stories, someone does something wrong, so they go back in time to correct it. This can't happen, as the event has now been corrected, so it never went wrong in the first place.
Still with me? This means that you have to be incredibly careful with time travel. It can be done,
I don't mean that the actual club is hitting people. Oh no. I mean that the Club now has 50 members. This just shows the awesome powers of Lemons.
