Okay, I kind of realize why BIONICLE had female sets. Kind of. You could argue over the romance implicated in 2001 (heck, I still consider it canon), the personalities programmed into the Matoran Universe by the Great Beings, as a way to generate sales, and so on.
But with the advent of Hero Factory and their females, I question why LEGO chose to add a female onto the team. They're robots, people. They might have artificial intelligence, they might have awesome weapons, but in the end they ar
This has more or less become an annual thing to do on the Monday after BrickFair. In 2011, Brickeens and his dad toured various monuments and statues in the Capitol as well as part of the Air and Space Museum. In 2012, Zatth joined up with us as we went around the original Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum. So, BrickFair goers and fellow BZP members: who's willing and able to take a tour of Washington, D.C. sights on Monday, August 5th? (I wanted to put this out there well
It has come to my attention that this blog has had proper Emoticon usage entries in the past. Since there are not to be any more in that blog, I will post Part 3 now.

Earlier today, I went into General Discussion and found that the TTV Podcast topic had been revived. I haven't been a part of that podcast since earlier this year, just a few short weeks after my initial promotion to Forum Mentor. Some of my best memories of my time on TTV involved the MOCist Interviews that I did, at first along with the deep-voiced Tom (I'm unsure of his current BZP username), then with Brickeens alongside us. Eventually Tom quit, which left Brickeens and I to pester other M
That's right, my fellow BZPers. It's time for another edition of Wacky Holidays with Sumiki! ()
Today we celebrate () the very thought of breaking away: Start Your Own Country Day. In this day, we can celebrate the spirit of independence that all of us have felt from time to time, though very few have gone through with it.
Sealand is such a place. Sealand is not really a nation, simply a structure made by the United Kingdom as one of the Maunsell Forts for defense against German mine-layin
Blogarithm Contest #2: Subtitles!
You know, as owner and manager of a blog, it's awfully hard to come up with good subtitles. You think and think, but no matter what you come up with it just doesn't fit as a good subtitle.
So starting now, I'm putting the job of coming up with an all-new subtitle for Blogarithm in your hands. Starting today and ending at 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, October 25th, come up with the best subtitle that you can and post it here!
Voting will begin on Monday, Octobe
Clicked on harmless link, strange stuff happened on my screen, and then screen said that my IP address has been logged by the FBI for illegal material.
In this hypothetical situation, you play as a BZP admin for a day, and BZP needs some more staff.
Pohuaki, longtime Global Moderator, steps down. Out of all the Forum Leaders, who replaces him?
Now you need a FA to fill the FL's spot. Out of all the current FAs, who do you promote?
Next, you need a new FA. Who do you hire?
Now, you need a new reporter. Who do you employ?
Do you want to know when you'll get 10,000 posts?
I was bored and as such made a series of steps to see.
10000 - Your current post count = posts until 10000
Posts until 10000 / your post per day average = number of days until 10000
For example, I'm currently at 8668 posts, with an average of 6 posts per day. This means that I'm 1332 away from 10000. 1332 divided by six is an even 222 days, which means that I'll hit 10000 sometime around May 26th, 2011.

MARK THINE CALENDARS
Surprised that many people are upset with the newly-revealed HF sets.
ORANGE THORNAX LAUNCHER. RECOLORED HYDRAXON MASK. OTHER NEW RECOLORS THAT ARE SO AWESOME THAT I FORGOT THEM.
But I suppose that there was hate towards the awesome Bionicle sets before they came out, but it seems to me that people are hating on 'em just because "they cancelled Bionicle just to put this junk in its place". But you know what? I don't give a flip one way or another what they're called.
Brickeens made this. He doesn't seem to want to post this in his blog.
But it's a true masterpiece of design.

Enjoy this fantastic pinnacle of skill from one of the great MOCing masters of our time.
My previous appearance at a plastic surgeon to excise a cyst from the right side of my neck ended with me setting up a follow-up appointment in order to remove an adjacent mole. I'd had this mole since birth, and when the surgeon heard of this, he told me that such things have a small but significant chance of developing into melanoma. Earlier in the week, I went over there and the operation was almost entirely the same as what I'd experienced before: some sharp pain during the numbing process
