Log Entry #8

Saturday, June 3, 2006 I woke up at eleven. My friend called me, wanting me to come over, at eleven-fifteen. I got owned in Halo today. I went to my friend's house and he beat me. He always does, because he plays it all the time and I neither own nor care about the game. Well, I owned him in tennis. High point of my day.

Entry #3

Monday, May 29, 2006 I wonder if I will ever get to put an entry title as far as #200 or something, that is, before I let this blog fall into disrepair. Today is Memorial Day, so instead of going to school today I can... just... not go to school. This is just one of those days when you have to appreciate being an American. Exams are just around the corner, and all of my teachers promised me they would be difficult. Some people have already started studying, but I just tell them they're nut

Medieval Times

Wednesday, July 19, 2006 I went to Medieval Times tonight for an out-of-school project. It was pretty cool. I visited the torture chamber, which showed some creative ways to cause pain. They served us food as we watched actors joust with each other and fight each other according to set choreography. Also, apparently, a popular ale called "Pepsi" existed in the Middle Ages.

Oh...all Right

Tuesday, September 5, 2006 Yeah, I'll make an entry today. It can't be long; I'm swamped with homework and I haven't gotten much of it done due to the two-hour nap I just took.   I got Bionicle Legends #4 today! I started reading it...it's really good so far. Get it! Huge info on the Makoki stones, DH cameos...you'll love it.   Gotta go.

It was supposed to be a lava plain of the island of Mata Nui, meant to put Tahu in a comfortable setting. The Ignika also never left its place in the prototype robot -- what Tahu saw of the Ingika was also an illusion

Remember 9/11

Monday, September 11, 2006 Here we are, five years later. Everyone always says that they remember exactly where they were when the news reached them that the planes had hit the World Trade Center buildings. Let us offer remembrance of that earth-shaking day. Do you give a donation to charity? Do you visit Ground Zero? Do you hang a flag outside your front porch? Do you bring it up in school? Do you use the "Remember 9/11" Avatar? All of us commemorate the tragedy that struck five yea

Lewa

Toa Lewa was a Toa of Air and one of the Toa Mata. He was gifted with the elemental power of air; wore a Kanohi Miru, the Great Mask of Levitation; and carried an axe through which he could channel his elemental power. Lewa and the other Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the Turaga of Mata Nui often told to the Matoran during the millennium between the Great Cataclysm and the Toa Mata’s arrival. The legend itself was spawned by a mix of common Matoran legends, the pas

Log Entry #20

Thursday, June 22, 2006 I went to school today. Had two hour-long breaks today in class. I'm so glad my history class doesn't rot horribly like so many of the other ones. That's especially rare for an honors course. During my first break I did some of my homework. During the second I played BS and won over everyone. During the actual class my teacher yelled out swear words while presenting the material he was teaching to us. It's...a good teaching method. I love it when my teachers use that met

Kardas Dragon

The Kardas Dragon was a powerful Rahi that served as a mount for Vezon during the Toa Inika's quest for the Kanohi Ignika. When the Toa Inika defeated Vezon and Fenrakk, they plunged into a sea of lava, seemingly to their doom. What the Toa did not know was that the curse that had bound the seventh Piraka to the giant spider would not grant him so easy an end. The Ignika resurrected Fenrakk in the form of the Kardas Dragon, and the Toa had an even bigger fight on their hands. This was the final

Toy Fair And Phantoka Videos

Sunday, February 17, 2008 Today we got the first good look at Bionicle summer 2008 sets. The BZPower frontpage article of the day displays an abundance of photos from their visit to Toy Fair 2008. Sadly, it seems that all the Mistika canister sets will be sold for $12.99 USD. Greg Farshtey's response to one BZPower member's inquiry about this was that a number of factors have contributed to the high price: the price of oil and therefore plastic has spiked, the price of steel to make new p

Wednesday

Wednesday, July 26, 2006 I passed that book test today. But not like I would have if I had actually read the darn thing... (See yesterday's entry? I tried.) 84%. My report compensates it with a nice 100% though, so I have nothing to worry about. If it's an "A" I'm looking for in this class, it's probably an "A" I'll get . Well, in a couple days it'll all be over. And you won't hear me complaining about school anymore . My magazine and comic still haven't come. I'm sad . I call this situa

Log Entry #...ah, Who Cares

Monday, July 3, 2006 My aunt's coming over today. Was it not just last week that my uncle paid us a visit ? I made a new topic here. Now that I look back on it after making it, I see it's pretty useless. Hey, July 4 is just a day away!

Saving Bionicle.com

Saturday, December 20, 2008 Christmas break has begun. And now that I have some time off, I'm taking a bit of it to save as many pages off bionicle.com as I can onto compact disks, in anticipation of its change in 2009. There are some parts of each page, like background images or flash objects, that Firefox won't save automatically (I have to use Cache Viewer) or load from an already saved file that I want to open without internet access, as a test. The browser relies on an internet connection

Friday, June 23, 2006 Today my summer school teacher only gave us an hour-and-a-half of total breaks unlike the usual two to two-and-a-half. What the heck is going on!? I have a lot of homework to do and also a lot of material I need to study. But that can wait until the last minute.

Grades!

Friday, November 3, 2006 I got my quarter grades the other day. I'm doing way better than I was last year at this time! School has been really, really hard this year and has consumed most of my time (clearly the reason why I don't post as much as I did a couple months ago). But it looks like all of that time that I've spent has paid off. Look: English -- 98 Science -- 92 Greek -- 99 Orchestra -- 100 Religion -- 98 Math -- 92 Go me!

Weak And Weary

Thursday, November 30, 2006 I haven't blogged in a while, have I? It's a miserablely cold, dreary, dark day outside. Man, I just felt like crud today. I was alright early in the morning, so I went to my classes, but I began to feel weak and achey in school around eleven. That stank. Never try carrying a 1300-page lit book or a Bible in your backpack while walking through the halls when you're in that condition. It still hasn't gone away, either. I just feel...tired. And it's not just gettin
